Can you help me? I've been working a lot on trying to improve my recordings and it would really help me out to know how you listen to them. When I started my channel most people listened on computers. I know a few years ago that seemed to switch over to smartphones. If you can help me out, I can try to make my recordings sound as good as possible for the way they're being used. Thank you for the years of support and thank you for helping answer my poll. Hello, and welcome to Flashback Friday. Since many of my subscribers are new to the channel, I thought maybe it would be fun to introduce newer subscribers to an older video that they you have missed. This video was recorded under the tin roof patio at my old house. I'm pretty happy I built that roof. It was my favorite part of the entire house. Update for this weeks video: Well, it's been a tough week. A tree went down on Saturday and took out our power and internet. The power was back up quickly, but the internet took a bit longer. They were able to get out Monday and run a new fiber optic cable. I was able to get this week's video uploaded on Monday, but then the internet went down again after just a few hours. They came out again today and ran an entirely new fiber optic cable and it's working again. Unfortunately, the video hasn't fully processed yet and I'm not sure I can get it posted. I may have to render another version of it and try again, which will take a few days.

Hello and welcome to my channel. In 2014 I was asked by my mom to help find something to help her sleep. She was looking for one of those little boxes you put next to the bed to play nature sounds, and asked me to help. From what I found, they were terrible. I realized that I could do so much better for her. I bought my first recorder and got to work, and she loved them.
I started my channel in 2015 and it didn't take long to realize that I was going to need a lot more that just a recorder. And so it began! Several new computers, nicer recorders, new video camera, and a slew of microphones later, here we are. You wouldn't believe how much is actually involved with making each video! Every video takes several hours to edit, and that doesn't include the time and travel to actually make the recordings. Totally worth it!
I feel lucky to have helped so many people over the years. Every recording is unique and I hope to make that perfect video and sound that helps you too.
