There are plenty of channels on YouTube that provide videos giving directions to follow a protocol for common procedures used in molecular science. Many of these videos aim either to teach or explain some molecular experiment, or to show step by step how to follow the protocol. It is a goal for my videos to give fast-paced detailed directions for procedures I follow in my own research, to the point where any stranger with little to no lab experience could just walk into any lab similar to mine and successfully repeat the procedure given my instructions. These videos could be used to instruct someone completely new to some lab research, giving them the bare necessary things to know in order to walk through the steps of a procedure on their own, or could be used as a quick reference tool for someone who while in the middle of their own experiment could look up if their memory is fuzzy on the next step.
