It's been 5 months since I've published a music reaction episode on Into the Music. In the meantime, I've been discovering a crap-load of songs and artists on my own. So, if I do start publishing music content on this channel again, it will likely not be first-time "Oh my God! I've never heard this before!" reaction videos, but more like "I just discovered this! I dig it! What do you think?" stuff. Let me know if that would be appealing to you. Otherwise, I have to honestly say that I have no interest in coming back to a saturated reaction market where all I'm doing is reacting to first-time listens.
Also, if I do get back to publishing episodes, they're going to be generally shorter than past ones and without the lengthy post-audio/vide dives into the artists' histories via Wiki and such. Instead, just a few minutes on what I like (e.g., "Oh my God, that bass!") and don't like of each song.
As to reacting to audience requests, I used to take them via a Kofi account where upon donation I would listen and react. I did this as a way to guarantee that your request would be honored, as I just don't have the personal bandwidth to accommodate all song requests made in the channel's comment threads. But, if I'm being honest, even the Kofi requests became too much, especially as I tried to get each one out within 2 weeks of date of request while the list grew longer and longer. So, if I do resume publishing content on Into the Music in some capacity, and I decide to open up Kofi again, there should be no timeline expectations on when your song request gets published; just that it will get published at some point and with honorable intentions. . . in other words, it will get published and not where you're waiting months. Let me know your thoughts on this, too.
That said, those of you reading this who I've engaged with and gotten to know a bit through this channel, know that I miss all of you! I also truly miss talking with all of you about what we all share in common. . . our deep-rooted love and passion for music. So, if I do come back, I'm coming back for all of you, including those who I haven't yet met.
In the meantime, sharing a pic in case anyone is interested in how I've been spending my time these last several months.

To everyone who posted a couple of weeks back regarding hitting 5k subs, we've been stalled a bit from creating and airing our 5k celebration due to life, death, and love events. But Andy, Jon, and I plan to get together soon to reflect back on memorable moments on Into the Music as well as reading all your wonderful and inciteful comments! So, keep your ears and eyes out our 5k episode within the next 1-2 weeks. - Greg

BE A PART OF INTO THE MUSIC'S UPCOMING SUB-CELEBRATION! As we close in on 5,000 subscribers this week, we would love to hear from all of you on when you first found this channel and through which of our reactions; why you continue to stick around and what sets us apart from other music reaction channels out there; and if there are any ITM reactions that stick out to you the most and why. Sorry for the lack of content this week. I've been under the weather all week and lacking the energy to do much of anything. To the KoFi requestors who have been patiently waiting for my reactions, I plan to spend this coming weekend catching up on requests made through Oct. 7 and then publishing them throughout next week.
