We Indians have every reason to celebrate the 75th anniversary of our independence. On this day, let us remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters from every single state across India. This independence is the result of a concerted and coordinated effort by our freedom fighters of all faiths. So, instead of saying it's your political party or our state, let's say it's ours. The struggle for liberty is a symbol of our brotherhood. You could be a Hindu, a Christian, a Muslim, a Sikh, or anything else. In the name of God, we have differing viewpoints. Deep within, we are united by the spirit of secular India. Our constitution takes precedence over religion in this country. Let us put aside our religious differences and keep the spirit of being an Indian alive forever.
