Surprise, surprise fellow rockers, a new restoration is underway!
I'm not going to say what it is yet, as it's too early in the restoration to announce a release date, but in due time you will be transported back to 1978 where a certain group of Ăyster boys played one of their most energetic shows...
Stay tuned for more! And thanks again to all my subscribers!

Iâve finally had the pleasure and the honor to see Blue Ăyster Cult live, and let me tell you, theyâve still got it! Thatâs Buck on the far right, Eric in the middle, and Danny Miranda (their bassist since 1995) on the far left. Rock and roll will never die! \w/

The Oyster Boys are swimming now... a sign has come. This was completely unintentional, but who am I to resist destiny? I've had this restoration planned for a while now, and I've just been working on it in my spare time until it's done. While looking at the details for my original videos, I've discovered that they were uploaded 8 years ago... to the DAY! December 1st, 2013. This was clearly meant to be, so I've decided to release the videos early, as in shortly after I write this post. Enjoy! \w/

It's been a while, hasn't it my fellow rockers?
Your patience has been rewarded: I've just completed a new, HD remaster of my Blue Ăyster Cult live 1981 videos, and the results are phenomenal! The video has received a major upgrade. The original release was exported at the incorrect framerate and had some severe interlacing issues... those have now been fixed! I ripped the video directly from the DVD at the highest quality possible and balanced the color, brightness, and contrast. Obviously it's not going to be perfect, it's a 2nd generation master (a.k.a. a copy of a copy) of a TV program from 1981, but I believe I've pulled the best image I can off of the analogue video signal.
The audio has also received an upgrade, instead of coming from the audio bootleg, I've ripped the audio directly from my CD of the 2012 remaster of "Extraterrestrial Live" (also in the highest quality possible) since it's the same performance.
I knew if I was going to do this again, I was going to do it RIGHT, no matter how much time it took. I plan to make this the definitive version of this particular footage. The ONLY way I could possibly make this better quality is if I had access to the master tape from MTV and the unedited soundboard performance from Blue Ăyster Cult's archives... obviously that's not going to happen unless I receive an offer from BĂC themselves, so this should be the best version under the current circumstances.
I'm going to go see Blue Ăyster Cult live, in concert, myself tomorrow, so in honor of that, and the legacy of my favorite band of all time, look forward to the release of the remaster tomorrow, 12/2/2021!
Thanks for all the love, support, comments, and stories! I love hearing from fellow BĂC fans!
