Ok I’m working on the bodice and I’m using the Ikea Djungelskog as a dress form. (He’s more bottom heavy than top so the bodice is upside down on him as you can see. The front is done but what are peoples opinions on the back? More stars or the two at the shoulders? ( pics 3 and 4)

Working on the skirt portion of the next episode (coming in March!) - which is the celestial Worth gown for @Queen_Astraea ! I spent 5 hours hand sewing it today but am only around 25% done!

I don’t know if I mentioned this but my child is obsessed with the Titanic. Like a lot! The only way a 5 year old child can be. So I plan on making a costume from the Titanic movie for myself (as his request). (He even had a Titanic themed birthday party this month because nothing says party like a doomed ship.)
Anyways- which outfit should I make?

Hi guys! Sorry for the radio silence but in the past 7 months, I’ve quit my job, got two new jobs (one temp job while I move and one permanent job starting next year) moved back to the Midwest, and also am prepping my house to be put on market. I have some really exciting news coming up and will keep you posted!
Also, new video coming in a few weeks but thank you all for your patience!

Ok... I've been staring at this for 24 hours guys - which do you like better? The single row or the double? (The left side of the dress is what I'm asking about, despite the fact that that would be on the right)

Hi guys!
Sorry for the silence these past few weeks! My family and I are currently in the process of swing the house and moving across the country, back to the East coast! I will probably be a bit sporadic on posting during this transition, but do expect a new video from me in the next few days! Here’s a sneak peak at what I’m making!

Hi everyone! I wanted to do a more fun, random video towards the end of next month. I was wondering what people would be interested in:

Hi guys! Sorry for the delay posting this month - I was hoping to go biweekly with this project but my family and I have been sick for the past 11 days (not Covid thankfully)! We’re finally starting to get better and get our lives back together. But wanted to say that I did use that illness as a chance to sew on ONE HUNDRED buttons for my Victorian Lady Doctor underskirt!
The underskirt is done and im working on the script now, but the first part (the jacket!) is still
Available on YouTube if you haven’t seen it! This one should be out early May assuming a quick recuperation! Thanks guys!

Real name Christine. Nickname? Stine.
But like all people, I have many facets to my life and my husband came up with cute nicknames for all of them. When I'm at work, I'm Doctorstine. When I'm a mother, I'm Momstine. When I'm sleeping, I'm Sleepstine. When I'm sewing, I'm Sewstine.
I am a fulltime physician by trade, board certified and everything, and I love what I do, but by all means, I have many passions. I also have an adorable toddler, and two wonderful doggos named after MTG cards. I love tabletop gaming (I play SoB in Warhammer 40k), costuming, cosplay, digitizing historical embroidery, sewing, embroidering, drawing illustrations, novel writing, weaving trim, and of course, teaching all of it.
My favorite eras are 18th century (1740s to the 1780s), and the 1880s, but you'll notice I stray constantly, venturing into all sorts of other time periods, as well as modern day wardrobe. I'm all about doing things that bring me joy, since I think life is far too short, not to.
