Richard Javad Heydarian is a multi-awarded television host, academic, columnist, and policy adviser. He has given lectures and talks at world’s leading universities including Harvard University, Stanford University, and Columbia University. He has written for or/and interviewed by Aljazeera, BBC, Bloomberg, CNN, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, The Economist, among other publications. He has been described as "one of Asia's most prolific...analysts," and was awarded as the 2018 Ten Outstanding Young Persons in the World (TOYP) by JCI international. He is a Senior Lecturer at the University of the Philippines, Asian Center, and has taught political science at De La Salle University and Ateneo De Manila University, formerly research fellow at National Chengchi University in Taiwan. His latest books are "The Rise of Duterte" and "The Indo-Pacific: Trump, China and the New Struggle for Global Mastery".
