Honestly we absolutely need some positivity here:
The reasons why I love Superman-
1. He screams hero, his heart is pure, and he wants to save everyone, he even tries to be a hero sometimes in timelines where he is influenced by evil like Soviet Superman, it shows how much of a good person Superman is, he is meant to be humanity’s hero, someone people look up to and feel the hope when he arrives
2. Even though he is an alien, he is so human that honestly, he is a better human than 90% of the people in this world
3. He makes you smile, why I love Superman movies and shows is that they have this happy feeling to them that makes depressed people smile, even if a movie like Superman 2025 have its flaws, it’s still an amazing movie with so much heart because of the fact that it just makes you smile, the OG Superman films and Returns just felt so magical with how they were made especially with the flying and they are just so charming, whenever in a scene in a show or movie when this man delivers a hopeful speech, you feel it. No other character in fiction has movies as charming and hopeful as Superman and we all need more movies like Superman(I still like Man Of Steel but it doesn’t top the other films because it does lack the happiness of Superman but it is still a guilty pleasure for me)
