IBO, a Syrian musician born in 1998, was raised in Dortmund, Germany. Growing up in a multicultural environment, he speaks Arabic natively and German fluently.
He started his music career in 2018, inspired by German hip-hop. Over time, he released over ten German songs, gaining millions of YouTube views and establishing himself in the rap scene.
In 2024, his song Controla, blending German and Arabic, went viral on TikTok. The Arabic part gained massive traction, pushing the song into YouTube trends in the UAE, Lebanon, and Tunisia.
Following this success, IBO shifted entirely to Arabic music, focusing on his Arab fan base. His fusion of Western and Arabic influences makes him a rising star in Arabic hip-hop.
