Today we participated in the first local pro-life event since the start-up of our Church's pro-life ministry! We were blessed to speak with multiple locals & let them know that we are out there representing St. Susanna's Orthodox Christian Church and standing in support of all human life as we are all made in the image of God! Looking forward to engaging in and hosting some of our Church's own pro-life movie nights and other events in the near future.

First thing I saw when I stepped in the thrift store today...
I've only found 2 other icons in the wild. One was a Christ Pantocrator icon that I found and the other was a Theotokos Passion icon that my wife found. They both were found within one month of eachother when we were just barely getting into Orthodoxy. This was almost 5 years ago now. Then today we find this Orthodox Guardian Angel icon. I've been thrifting for over 20 years and i didnt even start finding Orthodox icons until i became Orthodox. It's such a rare occurrence that it always holds significant meaning to me. Like a direct sign from God according to the icon that is found. God always comes through just in time, in His time. We've just got to learn to trust Him.
