Ever since I started producing back in 2016 I’ve dreamt of releasing on Monstercat. I pretty much knew all the early compilations they released by heart. Over the years I got lucky enough to work with one of my favorite artists and eventually got to release my first collabs with Fairlane, Philip Strand, Blanke and KC on the label in 2022, as well as earlier this year.
When I first began working on 'Overstimulated,' I resonated deeply with the concept of constructing a track around the sensation of being overwhelmed. But this song also comes from a place of being overwhelmed by all of the information / noise coming at us from every direction these days and the residual effects that it can have on our mental health.
Releasing "Overstimulated" on Monstercat still somehow feels unreal to me and I am very proud of where making music has led me. This is very special to me so thank you all for the support over the years <3.
