100th Anniversary when a broke theatre actor David Wark Griffith in 1908 was forced to act in pictures, and with no prospects at hand begins directing films based on the techniques he learned as a struggling actor and failed playwright ten years earlier.
The first time the words "Art" & "Film" would be used in a sentence, was when he created the 1st Feature Film in this country called The Birth of A Nation" in 1915. Historically never before were the words "Propaganda" and "Film" ever thought of as being possible in the same sentence until a Race War of Words & Thought would be started throughout America.
The Man who created Motion Pictures isn't being honored as the Father of American Film because he created a Movie with his point of view, and I've told that story in my play.
