“Tujhe darr nahi lagta kya?”
These are the comments I get when I upload videos showing India's reality.
These are just a few. I have thousands of messages telling me “Madam, ye sb mat dikhao, kuch nahi badalne wala”.
And yet I also have messages telling me “Didi, watched your video today and it changed something in me”.
Honestly, darr to lagta hai. Par sacchai dikhane se nahi balki sach ko jaante hue bhi chupane se.
Every time I come back from a shoot, I feel like a completely different person.
When I sit down to review footage, I literally think "Wow, did WE actually capture that?"
This work has taken me to some places that have honestly shaken me to my core.
But it is not easy, is it?
Before every single shoot, I get such bad anxiety. I'm researching until the last minute, even on the flight I'm still reading about whatever we're covering. And though I am not a morning person, on shoots I'm wide awake because something switches in me - like the camera's on and I need to be present for these stories.
Btw, most people think we have this massive production team. The truth? It's just the three of us doing everything. My producer is handling direction, safety, logistics... our camera person is standing for hours without breaks..... We're basically doing the work of 30 people!
Going from 100K to 3 million subscribers on YouTube in a year is honestly surreal. But it's never been about the numbers for me. It's about bringing these hidden stories to light.
And with every story we tell, I become a little different. A little more aware. A little more human.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with me.❤️✨

Yes, I earn a living from travelling.
But here's the truth no one talks about.
Behind the frames, we have experienced danger, anxiety, and uncertainty:
-My camera person was beaten and his phone was taken away when we tried to capture the reality behind India's tallest waste dump in Ghazipur. A group of men approached me, snatched my phone and deleted all the footage. I was left shocked and helpless.
-I burnt my shoe while capturing the burning city in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. This city is the coal capital of India. I was standing on a rock capturing the broken houses and coal mining ground burning continuously, it literally melted my shoes.
-We have also shot in places with extreme temperatures. At 52°c in Rajasthan, we battled dehydration, headaches and my shoe sole was completely detached due to the burning hot sand in the Thar Desert, Rajasthan.
-Then there are moments that haunt us and keep us thinking for days. Watching 400 dead bodies burning in a day in Banaras, the sight of deformed individuals in Jadugoda, and hearing about the struggles and sufferings of people shakes me to the core.
And yet, every month we pack our bags and go to shoot for 25-30 days.
Not for comfort, not for aesthetics but because we love documenting the unseen India.
I would love to hear your story too, share your travel experience!👇

I used to be the skinny kid in school- "haddi", "lakdi", "dandi"
Yet, my hard work weighed heavier than any names.
Looking back, here’s what I would tell my younger self:
1. Your school doctor will tell you to "eat 6 bananas every day" to gain weight. Laugh it off, because you will soon realize that as long as what you eat is enough and healthy, it’s fine.
2. Your family members will hold your wrist and say "kitni patli ho gyi hai". Tell them to find other ways of showing care. Invest your time with people who discuss life, goals, and growth - not just appearances.
3. Your teachers will assume you cannot lift heavy weights. Prove to them that your looks and health are two very different things.
4. Your friends will be your strongest support. They will never let you feel smaller. Hold on to the ones who uplift you and never make you second-guess yourself.
5. Your hard work will be your biggest strength. When you work till late at night to do well in the exam the next morning, no comments will be louder than your performance.
6. People will try to protect you from doing physical activities like sports, dancing, etc. thinking you will faint. Join the race anyway. Dance your heart out on stage and let your work speak.
What’s one thing that society has tried to change about you?

Can you guess a place where people only live for 40 years?
It’s in India!
I went to cover life inside Asia’s largest dumping ground that is in - Deonar, Mumbai.
What I saw there broke my heart! 💔
- People here are living next to a garbage mountain as tall as a 12-story building
- Life expectancy here is just 40 years - half as long as the rest of India
- Houses are built right on garbage
- Open sewers run in front of homes
- Drugs are easier to find than clean water
- Drinking water pipes run next to sewage
This video will be out soon! You'll see how people survive in harsh conditions - kids playing on toxic waste and families breathing bad air every day. Their stories show how our trash creates serious problems for others. This isn't just about garbage - it's about people's lives.
Drop a ❤️ if you want to see this important story.

"Will you marry me?" he asked.
And in that moment of- 'shit, it's happening'- I could have said sooooo much.
But I said only one thing: "what" with disbelief, "what?" with nervousness, "what!" with an unbelievable happiness.
If I could live that moment again, here are 10 reasons I would give for saying “yes” (to my fiance!!!):
1. Varun is effortlessly hot. Varun taking a bucket bath is hot, Varun sleeping is hot, Varun craving a back scratch is hot, Varun sneaking into the kitchen to find a midnight snack is hot.
2. Varun has a visceral need to entertain and take care of everyone who is in the room with him. And that makes living with him the most effortless and pleasant thing possible.
3. I am 80% sure that I am with Varun just because I want kids that look exactly like him.
4. Varun is a fast typer. His fingers have an uncanny ability to finish things fast.
5. Every morning he gives me a new name. Every night we forget that name. I cannot wait to know what I will be named fifty years from now.
6. After bathing, Varun wraps a towel around his waist and dances like no one is watching. That is my favorite sight of my man.
7. He loves my work like... it's his. When I have an important interview the next day, he asks "Do you want to jam with me?". With my head on his soft-comfortable chest, he will run me through all the toughest possible questions. And will make sure that I wake up ready to take on the whole world. I love loving someone who loves what I love so much.
8. Varun is so much like my father. But unlike my father, Varun is kinder. Gentler. Funnier. And my dad always says "sense of humor is the most important". Needless to say, my family loves him.
9. Varun is extremely anxious of flights. Yet Varun took more than 20 flights with me this year. In all the flights he takes, I want to be by his side, holding his hand.
10. But the best part for me was not the proposal. It was seeing him tell about the proposal to all his people. The man was sooooo happy. He was infectious! He said it with sooo much joy "I am engaged!!!".
So….“Yes Varun, I will marry you!”.
I am dying to have a lifetime full of unabashed, unmatched, filmy love with you.

I went to Leh in Ladakh - one of the highest place in India, and had the incredible honor of meeting Mr. Sonam Wangchuk, the visionary innovator whose Ice Stupas are revolutionizing water conservation in this high-altitude desert.
What we should learn from Ladakh:
- Resource conservation: In a region with just 10-12 days of rainfall annually, Ladakhis have mastered the art of using every drop of water efficiently
- Innovation under constraints: From ice stupas to natural refrigeration, Ladakhis have developed ingenious solutions to extreme challenges
At 16 times the elevation of Delhi, just breathing was challenging, yet people have thrived here for centuries through remarkable adaptation and innovation.
This video will be LIVE soon! I've documented how Ladakhis have developed sustainable solutions that the rest of India - and the world - could learn from.
Drop a ❤️ if you're excited to explore how people live in one of India's most extraordinary regions!

What did I just witness!!😶
India is WILD! I went to Varanasi to capture a unique Masaan Holi and my mind is completely blown!
Just when I think I've seen it all, this country surprises me again with traditions I never knew existed! Covering Holi in Varanasi was next-level thrilling, I've never experienced anything like it. The music, the colors, the energy... seriously, this should be on everyone's bucket list!
This isn't your typical Holi celebration with colorful powders - this is Masan Holi, where they use actual cremation ashes instead of gulal! I was right in the middle of it all at Manikarnika Ghat, watching as saints and Aghori sadhus covered themselves in ashes from the cremation pyres. The air was filled with chants of "Har-Har Mahadev".
Getting these shots wasn't easy - I had to really push through crowds with my camera, and as a female creator, that comes with its own challenges. But that feeling when you get the perfect shot? Absolutely worth it!
This whole celebration happens at India's biggest cremation ground where they burn over 400 bodies every day. Seeing life and death side by side like that was mind-blowing. That's what makes India so special!
This trip was honestly one of the coolest experiences I've had. If you ever get the chance to experience Holi in Varanasi, just go for it! You won't regret it!
Happy Holi dosto!
