Hi, I'm Martin, I live with my wife in Almere and I retired after 40 years of work. We have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
In 2019 we decided to build a pool in the backyard of our house. We had a pool built in our previous house and after 3 years in our new house we started to miss that pool. Although an above-ground pool was fine, we still felt the need for a real pool. Maybe a little overconfident I decided to do it all by myself. In August 2019 I made a design and in September of that year I started to build. June 3, 2020 I proudly swam my first laps.
Through this channel I want to show how I went through the construction process of my swimming pool, step by step, even the finishing of the garden is shown. You may also want to build your own swimming pool after watching the videos. I hope that you can use my experiences to support your initiative.
