A little garden haul this morning. It's been another year of wacky weather, but things are growing, slowly but surely! I've got the last of the radishes harvested and am fermenting them with garlic scapes, mushrooms will be turned into a taco ish dish for lunch, and plantain and chick weed are going into some tallow to infuse for a baby balm. 101f on the forecast for today, so I'm trying not to melt ๐ซ what are you up to lately? Wacky weather? Garden growing?

I've been making my own sunscreen for almost 20 years! Way before Tallow was cool, in fact it was the first product I sold in my etsy shop way back when. I've made a lot of different versions over the years too, and while they were all great, I'm loving the most recent iteration of this recipe I've been using for most of my life. ๐ I'm ๐ฏ sharing my recipe and a video tutorial with yall ASAP, but the question is.... who wants me to make up a batch to have a limited quantity available for purchase from www.apinchofpatience.com ? Accidentally grew a wine cap in my spawn bucket ๐ I've been meaning to take the rest of this spawn to my garden and just forgot about it for a couple weeks ๐ oh well! I'll go plant it now and eat the little wine cap with lunch!
