Since our founding in 1874, the Princeton University Glee Club has established itself as the largest choral body on Princeton's campus. Distinguished both nationally and overseas, we perform frequently on Princeton's campus, enjoying the wonderful acoustics and surroundings of Alexander Hall. In addition to four major performances on campus every year, the Glee Club tours frequently, most recently to Paris and Buenos Aires.
Our diverse repertoire embraces renaissance motets and madrigals, Romantic partsongs, and 21st century choral commissions, as well as the more traditional Glee Club fare of spirituals, folk music and college songs. Our members make up a spectrum even more diverse: all walks of academic life are represented, all knit together by their belief in the nobility and joy of singing together.
