The other day I made a post explaining why I will no longer post my podcast on YouTube because of their legal department. For over a decade, YouTube/Google has paid Black content creators significantly less than their white counterparts. They find loopholes to get out of paying us properly. I'm still owed over $7k for my son's YouTube channel. I stopped posting videos there when they refused to pay out almost a year ago.

Advertisers rarely targets Black audiences unless promoting hair and beauty products. For a very long time that was the only kind of content that became successful on YouTube amongst Black Women. So if you were a BW not posting hair and make up tutorials they weren't promoting your channel.

Despite repeated complaints, YouTube allowed content violating community guidelines to flourish, often inciting hatred towards Black women and paying creators generously for such content. And when I'd defend myself against that content my content would be removed. If I posted positive content it wouldnt be promoted and would get very little views.

I've been doxxed on the YouTube platform, severely harassed both online and offline due to "The Black Manosphere" and their hatred towards Black women. A group that was founded on the YouTube platform. I'm consistently gaslit by Black men every time I mention that, for a decade, they tormented me, my children, my family, my coworkers, my ex-boyfriends, and the father of my children. Most Black Men who have consumed The Black Manosphere content since it's birth know how I was tormented wrongfully and I consistently had to defend myself.

My personal complaints were ignored, even when my children were posted without consent. YouTube dismissed numerous reports of defamation and privacy violations. It wasn't until the pandemic, with its surge in users, that enforcement of policies improved. However, the racial torment I endured on the platform necessitated police reports and legal intervention. I've complained about this on my page and in my videos repeatedly. Only people who have been watching me for a long time know.

I am aware that other black women have become successful on this platform for various reasons and I am happy for them but many of have us not had a pleasant experience. Hundreds of thousands of Black women have been negatively affected by what YouTube allowed to be posted on this platform about us for over a decade. False narratives about black women that were born on YouTube have now spread all over the world.

Ladies, do you require for the men that you date to pay for your personal grooming? Hair, nails & makeup?

I almost didn't come back on YouTube. After a few correspondences with YouTube's legal department three weeks ago I decided that I wasn't going to post anymore of my content here. This app is terrible for Black Women and always has been since I started my YouTube Channel in 2008. I hope a gang of black women file a class action lawsuit against this app. And if you a black woman who's been here for as long as I have you know why.

When I resume my podcast it won't be on YouTube. I'm only posting clips here. I'll keep everyone updated. I no longer support YouTube. I'm glad it's made so many other people successful however this app has destroyed hundreds of thousands of Black Women. There are better platforms that I prefer being on and I have to officially say goodbye to this toxic ass place.

My day ones have saw me go through so much here. You have also seen me excel on other platforms and other places. I've been disgusted with this app for years now and I'm definitely beginning to see no value in being on here. I could give dozens of reasons but I just prefer to leave you with this quote....GO WHERE YOU ARE CELEBRATED not TOLERATED. Have Vision & Stay Focused -SoMo

During his podcast interview, Gary Owens, a divorced colorless man, who just left an interracial marriage, told one of the blackest men I've ever seen, Shannon Sharpe, that successful Black Men don't protect Black Women. All because they don't want to mess up their money or get cancelled. Then proceeded to call Shannon out on doing it too and Shannon Sharpe laughed the evilest laugh I've ever heard that came from the depths of his self hating soul. On some "you damn straight we don't and never will" type sh*t. And I haven't heard anyone talk about that. It's like no one noticed. Dear, Black Women keep completing college. Make your own money. Start your own business. sonceraemonique.com/ THE RIGHT MAN FOR YOU WILL COME ALONG REGARDLESS OF COLOR. Don't date anyone who will turn their back on you for money. No matter your gender or race.

In my latest video I'm talking about how an ex of mine needed closure from a relationship 15 years ago. This man proposed to me when I was in my early twenties. He is the reason why I came back to Atlanta after I moved to Charlotte. The truth is I always hated Atlanta. Ive lived in Cali now for 6 years. I'm originally from MD. I moved back to Atlanta to marry him. Once I made it to Atlanta he ignored my calls. He disappeared for 3 months only to re surface to tell me another woman was living in the house he bought for me. He stayed with her for years. Until about two years ago when her best friend recorded some private conversations she was having with her and played them for him. Come to find out she was playing him, having sex with an ex who was married to another woman. And was using my ex for money the entire time. He and I went to college together and we broke up 3 times over this woman. We were young then but now we are both 44. This is his 3rd attempt at trying to get at me since their break up. The first two times I gave him a hard time. This time I asked him what did he see in her that he didn't see in me that made him value being with her over being with me. This is what he said.

Here's the video. https://youtu.be/s63L2SKvwWs?si=jDQE2...

In 2008 I was telling people men were doing this online. I was telling people there was such a thing as a group of Black Men who hated black women and they were forming an audience/cult on YouTube. I talked about how they were harassing me online and off. How they were spreading rumors about me. NO ONE BELIEVED ME. Then in 2016 I said it again. Then when I got pregnant with my son in 2017 it got worse and I said it again and no one listened. It took until after the pandemic for people to start believing me. It took the Black Manosphere to get massively large for people to start believing me.
