Australia-based Bangladeshi singer Ayesha Mofiz, better known as Mala, is surely not just another face in the crowd.
Music is not just in Mala’s heart but it has always been in her genes as well! Her mother is a Nazrul Sangeet artiste; hence she was in touch with music since childhood. Some of her maternal uncles either played the tabla or were singers. In fact, as a child, she had the habit of doing a rehearsal every morning. She even practiced with a Guru. And as she grew up, she learned that she does have a knack for singing; and soon her passion for music grew so strong that today she finds it difficult to imagine herself without music.” Mala has finished her third year in Hindol Academy. She said, “I am still learning classical music."
Mala - “I don't have any specific future plan but yes, music will stay with me throughout my life. I cannot think of myself without music!”
