Channel created to share the trails, views and things seen on my runs west of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Northern California USA, mostly on the Western States Trail and surrounding areas. I'll be recording and making call outs of areas recently affected by the 2022 Mosquito Fire in Placer and El Dorado county so we can watch the regrowth together. I'm also excited to capture the look and feel of the area as the seasons change. As an ultra runner I'll lean into those looking for information on the trails specifically used for the Western States 100 Endurance Run and the Tevis Cup ride. I intend to cover trails from the Folsom & Auburn area east towards Tahoe plus any additional adventures I might run outside the area. More times than not my little monster, my partner in crime, my dogboy extraordinaire will be with me sharing the miles and just being cute.
