In his young career, pop/soul artist Sam Mooney has already reached #1 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter Chart, toured across the United States, won one of the country’s largest talent competitions, and shared the stage with many of his musical heroes. The Mississippi native’s piano-driven sound has earned commercial success and critical acclaim, drawing comparisons to artists such as John Mayer, Ben Rector, and early Maroon 5. Mooney has opened large concerts for a growing list of major artists including Judah & The Lion, COIN, The Band CAMINO, American Authors, Jordy Searcy, Stephen Day, The Brook & The Bluff and Kings Kaleidoscope.
Sam is based in Nashville where he is recording his next batch of new music. In addition to his solo career, Sam is an in-demand session keyboardist, and his playing can be heard on many albums from other artists. Sam recently announced a duo project with his wife, musician Polly Mooney. The duo's debut album is in production and is expected in 2023.
