Hey Everyone just wanted to drop an updated on the channel. This has been on my mind on and off over the past yr or so and recent changes in my work life balance have essentially been the deciding factor in making this change.
8 yrs ago I started this channel because I wanted to just talk about books, and booktube has been and is an incredible community and I have made some amazing friends on this platform, such as @EpicTalez
@BookishChas @strangementalitypaperYT (if you have not subbed to these awesome peeps do it!!!)
Its been a struggle to find the time and energy to continue to publish content regularly. Last yr I took a few months break, as well as end of december for a few weeks etc... I have tried to keep the pace up but the changing dynamics of work and life over the past 2 yrs, lack of time, energy or resources to focus on content creation has lead to me feeling this is now the time to take a step back from the channel and just enjoy good books, and others content on this platform.
This is not good bye or the end of channel, I still intend to keep the channel open, all content up, and even to ocassionally put out a video, however It wont be a weekly focus or even monthly vid focus, but rather a drop in from time to time, maybe the ocassional short, when inspiration hits me, and I am able to find the time to focus on making a vid, I will put one out. (ie sanderson has another secret project book coming out later this yr and i expect I may want to do a vid on that at some point)
I have committed to making the last viewers choice review vid once I finish reading Project Hail Mary, and hope to at some point do a live stream with some booktube friends to just chat about the past 8yrs on booktube, there is also some things planned for this summer with some booktubers I will be sure to get some content out on.
So rest assured I am not going anywhere, you will see me pop in from time to time, just not on any kind of regular basis, albeit it may be a few months between videos

Hello everyone, Just wanted to share a channel updated
The past couple of weeks there has been alot of stress and uncerntainty in my professional life which has lead to much anxiety and feelings of instability and uncertain future. More changes are yet to come which is why I have not gotten out a video out in the past couple of weeks
Over the next couple of months we dont know how things will play out and some more changes are coming which may impact the little time I have already to devote to video creation and content.
With that in mind, I am taking a break from booktube content creation to just focus on family over the summer months, and just seeing how things play out in other areas, but don't worry I have every intention of coming back to booktube, this is not a end of the channel but a break from video creation till I expect september. I just need to step back and get back to a place where I feel stable and inspired to create content.
I do love this community and everything it has done and is doing, and I will be back, that is the plan. But dont worry I am still around and hanging out in the discord so be sure to join us over in the dragons den discord, I will be hanging out there and dont intend to just dissapear
