A dislocated jaw; earholes too small to hear with; speech impediments -- the world tried but failed to stop Jon Hammer, founder, producer, and sole member of Pale Criminal, from creating music since birth. Accordingly, New York's Pale Criminal reflects music’s darkest corners: production influenced by Nine Inch Nails’ Broken, Machine Head and Cane Hill-esque riffs, and the gothic overtones of Type O Negative. Hammer’s self-taught musicianship is driven by a background in creative writing and literary analysis. Pale Criminal promises to authentically be itself, with each release standing independent of past works.
