I am EXCITED People!! The time has come for me to take my show on the road! I have booked a return High Speed train ticket PLUS a 4.5 star hotel in Shanwei, Guangdong Province next week for 4 days!! I am SO excited! The total cost, including taxes, fees and everything else (aside from food of course), $60USD!! A week in a beach front city in South China for less than most people would spend for one night in a roach motel in America!! I can't wait to share it with you!! I will (of course) be creating and uploading videos while there and will even throw in a couple live streams to show you what I am seeing! Already looking for new places to show the world the Reality of life in China!

I recently discovered an AMAZING little Guangxi Noodle Restaurant in my neighborhood. Owner told me I was the first foreigner to ever come eat there!! I tried the LaoYouFen - 老友粉 - Old Friend Rice Noodles - OMG!!! SO delicious I barely had time to take a couple photos! But I will go back and get a little video for my viewers!! So if you were walking past and saw a little restaurant like this, would you go in and try it??

**Quick Scheduling Update** Hello Everyone! 大厜弽Just letting my great viewers know a little format change in the coming days. Nothing crazy, but it seems these days my Political/Economic/Current Events videos are getting more and more popular. As such, I have been focusing a lot on those types of videos. But I do also make a lot of adventure, food and random videos as well. So I am going to focus my videos Monday - Friday on the more serious videos, Saturdays will either be a Hot Topic or Live Stream, and I will share my fun videos on Sundays! This way there should be a little something for everyone! What do you think?

I got a great question in the comments from one of my viewers I thought I would share here, in case it gets lost in the shuffle. I bet a lot of people don't know why down thumbs are no longer visible and how (of if) they affect the algorithm. Thanks to @peterlai9018 for the question

What about clicking thumbs down for their videos and the positive comments? 😀

My Response
Thumbs down does not affect the video circulation or algorithm like you might think. I actually checked this out in the YouTube Creators Studio. Thumbs down are no longer publicly shown because they are meant only to be used as an indicator for the video creator as to what their viewers like and dislike. This gives them an opportunity to modify their content moving forward if they get a strong negative reaction. But it is not used by YouTube to determine whether a video should be promoted less. In fact, quite the opposite. Negative comments and thumbs down are in fact a good thing for most creators! It shows engagement on the videos, and ultimately, THAT is what YouTube wants more than anything else! The more people watching videos, for good or bad reasons, the more advertisements YouTube sells, and ultimately, makes money from! That is why I do not hide negative comments or viewers from my channel. Their hate filled rants are MORE than welcome! More engagement for any reason means the YouTube algorithm will notice my videos and share them more broadly. Great question though! A lot of people think they are hurting hate channels by thumbs down and negative comments, but the reality is, they are doing the exact opposite!

No Western power has ever helped China's development. No one. Never. Quite the opposite, in fact. China has been hindered and threatened because of its successes. Even today, with a lot of PROPAGANDA against it. This Western (U.S.) propaganda has led us to assume that China is a "Failed and Repressive State." But it’s not. It’s the complete opposite of failure. Everywhere you look, here in China, you see Freedom with "Progress and Growth." China is a fantastic country. Its people are unique in many ways. This nation is ancient—seriously, very ancient. China is 2,000 years older than the Roman Empire. The Romans are long gone, yet the Chinese remain strong as a people, clinging to their traditions and their immense cultural heritage. Even the Qipao (or Cheongsam) is still in use after nearly four centuries of fashion. Thanks to this, the Chinese have overcome countless internal struggles. The most severe began in the 18th century and ended in the 20th, when their territory was occupied by six European powers (plus Japan), who ravaged it, corrupted it, and debased it with opium. Despite all the ruin and decay they endured, they not only survived but surpassed themselves, thanks to their cultural strength and resilience… Despite war after war, they endured. Look here: Just at the start of the 20th century, between 1911 and 1949, there were:
--The Xinhai Revolution, with the failed coup of the new Empire ("Down with the Qing Manchu. Long live the New Han").
--The Second Xinhai Revolution.
--The War of Union for national protection against foreign powers.
--The internal struggles of the "Warlords" in China.
--The Autumn War of 1927. Then:
--The First United Front. The Northwest Expedition.
--Defense against the Empire of Japan in World War II.
--The Second United Front.
--The Second Chinese Civil War.
What an ordeal! After 38 years of continuous wars, the "Great Famine" (1959-1961) struck. Mao’s "Great Leap Forward." With a death toll of nearly 2 million Chinese. Though propaganda has made us believe that 10 million starved to death. As if 2 million weren’t a horrific number already. Horrendous! Anyway, moving on: In 1971, according to the OECD, China ranked 44th among the world’s economies. By 1999, China had climbed to fifth place. In just three decades, China managed to lift 700 million Chinese out of poverty. Such a feat was achieved with WORK and DISCIPLINE. Today, China holds the second spot… and they accomplished this without attacking anyone, without firing a damn cannon, without stealing resources or territories, without invading, and without bothering their neighbors. With all that said, doesn’t that deserve a bow of recognition? China is an admirable country. China went from the "Great Famine" to superpower status in 30 years. Next, it launched its own space station, built in just 20 months, and then placed six advanced robots on the surface of Mars. An incredible achievement, accomplished without bothering anyone. Without meddling with anyone. Oh! But the West (U.S.) didn’t like what China had achieved at all. So, by 2002, a PROPAGANDA campaign was prepared (remember the propaganda campaign against Iran: "Weapons of Mass Destruction" in 2003? Same thing with China)... Propaganda to convince us that China enslaved people; that it trafficked children’s organs; that it didn’t respect Human Rights or Civil Rights. (Ha! Sure, right.) To convince us that in the "Great Famine" 10 million starved, then 25 million, then 100 million. Damn it! As if nearly 2 million Chinese dying of hunger wasn’t an appalling figure. Propaganda that still lingers, like claims that the Chinese eat dog meat or bat soup, or that all their industrial products are of terrible quality, or that they only copy Western technologies. Or, the ultimate absurdity! That the Chinese invented Covid-19 and AIDS. The propaganda aimed to shock, but at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, all these lies crumbled under the weight of verifiable facts. Even today, they try to convince us that China will soon collapse economically. Well, it doesn’t look like it, because twenty years after the start of the smear campaigns, we see that China hasn’t stopped growing. Its middle class is healthy and upwardly mobile. And instead of declining, China is poised to take the top spot among global economies. What’s said here is an Absolute Truth, not propaganda. The Chinese government is doing what’s right and necessary to progress without using force, either domestically or abroad. China is a nation of Peace. China isn’t a "Plunderer" or "Exploiter" of the world. China doesn’t STEAL territories or resources from anyone. China doesn’t interfere in the internal affairs of any nation. China is neither Imperialist nor Colonialist. Much less Expansionist. In over 1,000 years, China hasn’t invaded anyone in the world. Never. That’s something it has NEVER done! Do you know how many military bases China has outside its own territory? None. Zero. Nothing! China, true to its ancient customs, doesn’t attack. China is a respectful country to all and an example to the world. In contrast, the United States, in just 250 years as a nation, has "grown" 711 times the size of its original 13 colonies. The U.S. has nearly 800 military bases scattered across the planet. Of those 800, the U.S. has 93 bases facing China. And THAT’S the problem with the United States regarding China: Their Fear. Their Great Fear! Since the Yankee empire was built on piracy, slavery, genocide, the assassination of government leaders, opium and cocaine trafficking, and the THEFT of raw materials through the submission and weakness of many sovereign nations, they fear China’s rise. They fear it because they think China will behave the same way the Americans have behaved—and still behave—everywhere. That is, as "Plunderers" and "Exploiters" of the entire world. And no. China is NOT the same as the U.S. China is doing what’s right and necessary. China is a nation of Peace. For China, "Progress and Growth" is achieved through work, not by subjugating or overpowering others. "Progress and Growth" is about reaching a better future. It’s about people living well, without hunger, without ignorance, and without poverty. And that can be achieved, just as the Chinese are doing as a people and as a government: Without screwing over anyone abroad. And without repressing civil liberties at home… even though propaganda wants to convince us otherwise, China does what’s "Right and Necessary" and shows the world that it IS possible to progress without bothering anyone.

Well, we have enlisted the aid of a real estate agency to start looking for our new home! We are in no rush, but it is time to find something more permanent! I am pushing for a more rural lifestyle similar to how my mother-in-law is currently living! What do you think? Could you live in a place like this? Let' me know in the comments!

Good Afternoon Viewers!! As it seems there is growing interest and support for the channel, I have decided to add a new perk to the Channel Membership offer! Not only is a great way to show support for the channel on a monthly basis, (for the price of a cup of coffee), but it includes custom chat emojis, a shoutout of your channel in my videos and a membership badge! On top of that, I have just added the perk that allows members the opportunity to view and comment on my newest videos, before they go live for the public! For example, this week I have 4 videos queued up and scheduled to be released throughout the week, however, Channel Members will have immediate access once the video is uploaded! (Note: It may take 24 hours for YouTube to authorize this Membership Perk change, so please be patient existing members). Once again, membership is NOT mandatory but it certainly does help! As always, the best way to support the channel is to simply hit that Subscribe Button (if you haven't already), throw me a thumbs up if you like the content, and leave me a comment with your opinions or questions!
Thank you to all of my amazing and incredible viewers!!
