Teaching an Abhinaya piece(a rare Annamacarya Sankirthana) to those experienced in any Indian classical dance form.
Honoured to announce that it is my turn to teach a rare Annamacarya Sankirthana. This will happen on the 12th and 13th of February, 2022, as a part of the ongoing and prestigious Tamrapatra series hosted by 'Natyarambha'. The composition I will be teaching can be adapted to any style as I shall be giving the narrative, storyboard, choreographic options alongwith a vocal rendering by Meera Rammohan that is apropos to my choreography. Conceived and organised by eminent dancer, scholar and bureaucrat Dr. Ananda Shankar Jayant, the Tamrapatra series is a great platform where twelve artistes come together to each teach a rare krithi of Tallapaka Annamacarya across twelve months and the proceeds from it go to supporting other artistes.
