We have been diving into the world of cheese making. I have heard this her name for at least 20 years but never looked into her. She sounds like a lot of fun and I love to hear how businesses start and get going. We are excited to get some supplies (we bought) from her soon! (I never paid too much attention because buying cultures was not an interest or in the budget for me. But now that more is understood (again) on natural cultures I am excited and we are having lots of fun with cheese from our Bessie Dearest's milk. I can't wait to have 2 cows in milk next fall!

This week was the first week since I started (end of May) that I missed my self imposed goal on posting. I forgot on Monday (the weekend was different for us) And posted on Tuesday to make up for it. Did't get it done on Wednesday and got back on track to post today. And I have 1 scheduled for Monday. So I am ahead of the game again today. I knew it would happen sooner or later but I was still disappointed. DID YOU NOTICE?

We are a large family (9 children here) of creators. We are currently building a shop for my husbands knife business and converting a dairy barn to be our family home. We spin, weave, knit, crochet, dye, forage, plant, wood work, paint, bake, make large family meals, play and more. We are also avid tea drinkers and love to also blend our own. Join our family as we create.
