Hello and welcome! My name is Bren Booth-Jones. I am a writer and freelance scholar. On this channel we discuss literature, writing and how to create lifelong self-study through immersion in great books.
Below is my writer bio:
Bren Booth-Jones is a writer and educator whose third book, Blue Remembered Star, was nominated for the 2024 T.S. Eliot Prize. His debut collection, Vertigo to Go, won the 2019 White Label Competition and was published by Hedgehog Poetry. Bren has co-edited several books and journals, including As Much Heart as a Vending Machine (The Hungry Ghost 2021). He was ‘19/‘20 editor-in-chief of Writer’s Block Magazine. Bren’s poems and prose have appeared in venues such as Dutch Design Week, Open Letters Review, Tableau Magazine, and elsewhere. He was nominated for the 2024 Best of the Net Poetry Prize and won a 2021 Outcast Best Poem Award.
