State of the channel: November 2025
Howdy howdy and welcome to a very late fifth State of the channel!
Been like what, 6 months since I last uploaded here, man time flies, regardless, today marks one year since I concluded the JWE 2 sound series, it's also the 4th anniversary of JWE 2 itself.
Now as some of you may know, JWE 3 is out now and the question everyone probably has is if I'll be making videos covering that games' sound work.
The answer is yes, though eventually and only for the newly added species. Been waiting for a couple of mods to come out that would make taking screenshots for the series a whole lot easier.
Before I start that series though, I've got a couple surprises on the JWE 3 Nexus coming out today >:D
If you're on PC, prepare for some rather auditory based mods, long time coming too. I don't have a video showcasing them out today, but maybe I'll eventually make a mod showcase again!

State of the channel: February 2025
Good day folks and welcome to the fourth State of the channel!
It's been a while since the last one of these and there's a good reason for that, burnout!
Not a bad kind of burnout though, more so the kind you get after you've finished a huge project, speaking of which...
As time is moving forward as it usually does, (in the case if it didn't there'd be some major cause for concern...) I've found myself having less and less time to make stuff for the channel, to make stuff for you and in my opinion, that's okay.
Life moves forward and that's also okay, the support you guys have given me on my ventures into making content has been wonderful and means the world to me. So thank you, truly.
I wont be quitting though, but I will be retiring in the sense that I'll only do the remaining projects I have planned.
I'll also keep making videos for fun as I always have, though there are some things I'd like to say more clearly.
Now let's go over those things shall we!
1. I'll stop with gigantic projects such as the JWE 2 sound series, that series was fun to make but ultimately fairly stressful
- Instead I'll focus on set projects and videos I'd want to do for fun, such as the stand-alone Rey Dau video!
2. So, what projects can you guys still expect from me?
- With Jurassic World Evolution 3 on the horizon, as much as its sheer existence sucks, I will probably be covering the sounds of creatures unique to that game.
- Videos featuring some relatively old custom sound work of mine, as life became more busy I grew out of wanting to do custom sound design, nothing wrong with that but I would still like to showcase my old catalogue!
- Once Planet Zoo has had its final DLC, I'll be uploading one singular video linking to all the sound effects now present in the game, so stay tuned!
- Lastly, I'd like to see what content I'll be able to make in 2025 surrounding all of the paleo-media we'll be getting this year!
3. Now I also want to touch on what projects you guys shouldn't expect from me.
- I've said it before but I'll say it again, I will not be covering Prehistoric Kingdom on the channel, maybe one day long after the game has launched but for now, it's a no.
- Videos covering returning creatures in Jurassic World Evolution 3, go watch the JWE 2 series instead, I doubt they'll change too much of the sound design.
- And lastly, don't expect any more Monster Hunter audio content, Rey Dau was a stand-alone video and I will not go through the torture of making videos for the other Monsters.

State of the channel: October 2024
Howdy lads and welcome to the third State of the channel!
We're rapidly approaching 10k subscribers and that's just awesome, never thought we'd reach such a goal!
Now let's go over some things I'd like to address.
1. You may have noticed the final stretch of JWE 2 Sound Videos has started. And what a task it has been, from optimizing my editing process to the insane amount of needed screenshots (over 100!)
This will finally conclude a series I've worked on for over 2 years!
2. As much as I enjoy hearing your guys' feedback and requests, some of them come across as very demanding and or unneeded, please do consider this before leaving a comment!
3. And finally for PZ fans of the channel, all I'll say is keep an eye out around the games' anniversary 👀

State of the channel: June 2024
Good day folks and welcome to the second State of the channel!
Today I'd like to announce a few things and discuss some past and upcoming content.
Let's go over those shall we.
1. After the slew of JWE 2 sound videos, you may have noticed that I uploaded some rather unprecedented videos on my channel, mainly the Kaiju resounds. I don't know how many more I'll make but feedback is welcome!
2. I also uploaded stand-alone Dominion Microceratus sounds that weren't on Youtube yet, do let me know if you guys would like to see more of these one-off sound videos!
3. This next one is for the fans of the ARK sound series, I've replaced most of the download links to have clean crisp sound files straight from the Devkit!
The old files were recorded and then extracted from game footage, so this should be a pretty good upgrade! Back then I was also not able to record all the in game sounds, so there will be plenty of new ones to download!
(The people that asked for ARK footstep and Human sounds can finally rejoice!)
However, I will not be making new videos with these files, I'll only be adjusting the download links.
Though these new files will have exclusions such as modded creatures, those will stay at the old recorded quality.

4. I've also been a busy bee on Twitter and Nexus with memes, photos/videos and mods!
The screenshot of this announcement is one of those mods, the adorable Blåhaj Megalodon!

5. And lastly, the JWE 2 sound series is not dead, though I am taking a break from it. Hopefully y'all can expect the remaining 48 videos to come out later this year, it'll quite the task!

State of the channel: April 2024
Howdy lads, today I'd like to discuss the future of my content, mostly what to expect and what not to.
I'm also hoping to make this new "state of the channel" thing regular, or at least close to regular lol
The Deinocheirus was necessary.
So, what can y'all expect from me over the coming year.
1. I'll hopefully finish up all of the JWE 2 base game creature sound videos, can't promise you when they'll happen as they're a lot of work, but they should all happen this year on weekends.
2. You can fully expect the regular JWE 2 DLC sound videos to continue happening on the weekend after said DLC has launched.
3. I've seen quite a few people ask but sadly the answer is no, I will not be making Ark Survival Ascended content, sound videos or otherwise.
4. And lastly, I'm also hoping to upload a bit more off the hook rather than just when JWE 2 DLC rolls around, like my recent April Fools video
