Hello Viewers,
Hurricane Nana gave us cause to move the boat to the mangroves about 2.5 miles from our dock here in Placencia, Belize. It took quite a few hours for two of us to set 3 anchors from the bow and two stern/breast lines to the mangroves (pictured above). I was totally exhausted at the end of it and lost about 5 lbs! Nana only just made Cat 1 but this was the perfect opportunity to go through the drill, just in case there is a big one. There are still 60 days to go until the season is over.
We are having a break from editing videos as I'm wanting to spend all the time available with Zaya and Leo rather than sitting at a screen. We are continuing to film when we have something worthy of sharing later. Leo is thriving and charming all the empty nesters here.
We are all well, happy and starting to pay more attention to health, losing some weight (Me in particular. Zaya is already looking fabulous after having Leo) exercising more and controlling the diet (we have eliminated carbs, aka Keto, but my weakness is the grog so I've been cutting down on that too. Definitely feeling better for it.
Luckyfish is in great shape. I'm doing odd jobs on her to keep occupied and of course Leo loves the tools. He is now 16 months and a really solid, strong little chap and, very dexterous with his hands.
That's all for now. We all send our best wishes to you and hope you are coping OK under the circumstances. Leave any comments below and let us know how you are all getting on. Cheers, Stew, Zaya and Leo

Hey Subscribers,
We re-badged last Fridays release (Ep 108) and are re-publishing it below with new title and new thumb.
We just arrived back in Placencia, Belize after what was possibly the most challenging sailing we have ever done.
As we swung into the harbour last night I was reminded of learning to sail as a kid and the feelings you have at the end of a days sailing - surnburnt, mind and body exhausted, head full of new experiences, lessons learned, some good, some bad and a general feeling of being totally fulfilled.
This Fridays video will have the full story and shows just how quickly things can go wrong.
Have a great week everyone, Stew and crew on Luckyfish

Dear Shipmates, brace yourselves for a bit of a tempest forecast in coming days. Fortunately Luckyfish may have a new bosun to take care of things. Stand by ...

Last week Zaya had coffee with some women from the World Wanderer's Facebook Group (Mongolian). When they read her posts telling the story of her and Tuya's sailing adventures they expressed interest in sailing with us.
They maybe perfect to show the progress from zero to sailor and an inspiration for any wives or g.f's out there feeling reluctant to try. These women seriously know nothing about sailing aside from watching a few Lf videos and only one has swum in the water, in a river, knee deep :-).
We are brainstorming how to join the dots on this and would love to hear your suggestions.

We are Stew and Zaya. We are sailing a beautiful catamaran that didn't cost the earth. We crossed the Atlantic from Sth Africa to Florida. We are now cruising the Caribbean before crossing the Pacific. Luckyfish is a safe, fast and proven bluewater cat, and a ton of fun to sail. Sheβs packed with simple solutions to complex problems that will surprise you.
Stew is a Kiwi and Zaya is Mongolian. We crossed the Atlantic with Zaya's sister Tuya, and have other crew who join us too, like Zaya v2.0. We share the cultures we experience, as though you were sitting right there with us. We like to share some history, some ecology, expose some bs when we see it too, and capture the beauty of nature that is all around us. We also do "How To's" - everything from how to get the wife/partner into sailing to preparing for an ocean crossing.
We really do try to keep it real and, we reply to every comment. Thank-you for watching !
Cheers!
