Opening weekend success! Couldn't ask for much prettier weather. The deer were moving really good Saturday and Sunday with several shooters seen (and a good one almost hit with the truck!) Didn't get any shot opportunities on any of the mature bucks on the property but we got to enjoy watching several of the younger ones and ended up harvesting a doe at last light for Thanksgiving dinner. God is good!

The heat was BRUTAL yesterday for the MBKFA Bagwell, but I managed to land a few and bring home some hardware! Not shown in the picture is a 2-day trip to PAC Kayak Marina in Louisianna! Currently sitting in 2nd place in trail points with 2 more events to upgrade before the championship! 💪

MBKFA Trail Event #3 -- The SLAMAGEDDON
Had a lot of fun fishing this tournament! I didn't bring my camera with me due to the weather forecast calling for nasty thunderstorms, but despite tough fishing and some "oh crap!" moments (like when a 28" redfish jumps out of the kayak before getting a pic..) I still managed to pull of a 3rd place finish and take home some cash! Currently sitting in 3rd place for series points with 4 events to go. Let's see if we can keep it up!

I fished the second MBKFA trail even of the year this weekend. It was brutal. I managed 13th place after losing the fish I needed early and was 10 minutes late catching its replacement... I'm currently sitting in 7th place for tournament AOY, which is the lowest spot to make it to the championship. Got 5 more events to go!

Well guys, I know I've been pretty quiet over the past couple months. Between hunting, school, and family stuff, I just haven't had much time to work on any videos until this week. Deer season just wrapped up (with success!) and I have a few videos recorded already that I'm in the process of editing. I should have those up soon, along with a lot of new stuff in the near future. My tournament season kicks off this Saturday, so stay tuned to see how that goes. Just wanted to give y'all an update. Thanks for being patient!
