About Michael
I had the privilege of growing up on a farm. This gave me the opportunity to explore and discover how much I love to work with cars. This was from the early age of eight years old!
My initial training was a panelbeater and after my apprenticeship I worked as a maintenance fitter in the outback of Western Australia in Gold and nickel mines.
I carried on my career in various guises as a welder from TIG, MIG and OXY to programming robots to weld hardface. That includes solid wire and flux core wire.
I also worked at Ford manufacturing in Geelong, Australia and spent many years as a toolmaker.
I now have the opportunity to work on what I really love - that is detailed restoration on cars. The last few years I have fully renovated houses from restumping to total kitchen bathroom fitouts. These are the things I really love and now I am doing them full time. I am living the dream! It takes more than… just a few dollars!
