Hi guys, Iām new here!!! Iām a female Siberian Husky doggo, Iām 15 months old, and my hoomans call me Lady May! My first year of life was a little ruff because I was not born with nice paw parents.
Around my first barkday, my hoomans dumped me and my sis and bro on the side of the road. NOT COOL, DUDE!! I heard many worried humans call āanimal controlā and the dog deputy to get the guy, but they chased ME instead!!! I evaded their attempts to falsely imprison me and led a life on the run for some time. Then, I was chatting up some cute girl at a gas station and had been on the run for some time, so I let the nice human lure me into a tasty trap.. but once my belly was full, I knew it was time to make my escape. I chewed off that rope thingy hooked to that new necklace they gave me and I was free as a bird!! I overheard the humans saying my bro and sis were picked up and safe at a local shelter, getting the royal treatment, so I let one of the goofball humans take me to their home. They found me a safe space to hang out for 3 months until my furever home was ready for me.
I was starting to come out of my shell a bit in foster care, but everything is still so new to me. Please follow along my journey and give my new mama, Jess, some tips on how to care for a unique, timid girl like me.

Hello! My name is Lady May, the Rescue Husky! I had a ruff start in life since my first human was a ābackyard breeder,ā and because of that, I didnāt get the proper nutrition, veterinary care, exercise, or socialization with humans that I neededājust to name a few things! Around my first birthday, my littermates & I along with our mama were abandoned on the streets of Central Ohio. We were on the run for weeks before nice humans were able to rescue us. But I just met my forever hooman, Jess, and in her presence, I blossom into a playful, vocal, affectionate husky!
