A preview on what I've been working on :)

This is not a romhack, but an animation that turns the intro sequence of Game & Watch Gallery Advance (AKA Gallery 4) into stereoscopic 3D.

At the moment, I only have plans to release it in video form, but would anyone be interested in me releasing the SWF somewhere like SWFChan or Newgrounds? Let me know in the comments :) watch video on watch page

I'm currently working on a video where I've made the intro sequence of Game & Watch Gallery Advance (AKA Gallery 4) stereoscopic 3D. All the characters have been finished (for scene 1 anyway as the game uses different rooms(?) for the characters) except Mario. The toughest part of Mario is that his scaling is done in real time, and can be affected by the emulator. I'm tempted to say I'm 80% done with Mario's animation.

After this, I'll make the alternative scenes (with other characters being animated) and might even do one where everybody is animated (including Koopa who has an animation that goes unused).

This isn't the best photo, but I thought I'd include something anyway

It took a bunch of experimentation, and a lot of self motivation o.o but I am almost finished editing my Super Mario Advance glitches video!

I basically had a bunch of glitches that were similar to other glitches, or branched from others, and I had a lot of footage that I wasn't sure how to use, but in the end I felt like keeping the wording simple while letting the clips speak for themselves was a good approach.

A lot of the cut footage was detailed steps on how to do specific things that didn't really change the outcome of the glitch. They may end up used in future videos though, we'll see.

As of now, I've edited together 13/15 glitches, with the 2 remaining ones being a relatively small one (The Bonus Chance minigame) and the other being a pretty big, complicated glitch. So hopefully it doesn't take too much longer!

I recently recorded some footage for a glitch compilation video. Originally it was going to showcase a few things in the game, but it turns out there's a bunch of undocumented and undiscovered glitches??

The game is Super Mario Advance, which is a remake of a remake of a reskin. A bunch of glitches were patched between the NES, SNES and GBA versions, but it turns out you can still do some of them in the GBA remake under different circumstances while some are new ones that I discovered.

So now I've got to decide how I'm going to edit this together as I'm using Nintendo Switch clips which max out at 30 seconds each. Will I edit just the visuals then narrate it? Or should I narrate then match the visuals to what I'm saying? Also I need to organise the glitches as some are built upon previous glitches (like the Extra Heart in Yoshi's Challenge glitch requires you to do a clipping out of bounds glitch).

I don't know when I'll finish the video, but I've got about 14 glitches labelled and sitting on a timeline in Sony Vegas. How did I get over the video codec thing from last time? Well, it turns out an app on my phone was fantastic at converting it to a recognisable MP4 codec 😮 I'm super impressed! I'll have to remember to credit it when the video comes out.

My experience with trying to get this update video finished over the past day has involved me fighting Sony Vegas. I don't understand why there are so many issues when this is a fresh install of the same software I've been using for many years. Reliable software that's suddenly behaving volatile.

I think it just cannot run on a modern 64-bit operating system, especially with video files using codecs it doesn't understand.

I'm really fighting to get this to work, as I'm at the rendering stage, but even after 14 attempts of changing the settings, it just refuses to export more than 12% of the entire project because of memory issues.

I'm stumped. And now I'm even more uncertain about making edited videos in the future as I will likely have to find some new software. It's also possible that it's my machine? I don't know what to do if I can't even render all of this work

I put some time aside recently to make an update video that briefly goes over the last 2 years. On and off, I spent about 5 hours on it, not including the audio file and other takes, and I was ready to add some music to the background to make things more interesting.

Sony Vegas crashed. I thought it was fine as I had literally just saved about a minute ago. But the file wouldn't open. In fact, the backup files didn't open except 1 from 2 hours ago, when I was about 50% finished ._.

I tried researching this issue online and couldn't find anything helpful, so I did what I do best and I hypothesised reasons for the crash while trying to see if I could learn anything from Vegas itself.

I was able to identify the issue. 5 video files are causing Sony Vegas to bug out, which is no big deal I guess but it already took a while of careful manual review to get to this conclusion. The idea was to convert the files into a different file extension, which worked for one file but not the second file.

3 hours after the crash, I was just staring at Sony Vegas, baffled how it was still crashing so I've given up as 7:30am is pretty late and I need sleep.

So I guess I'll have to put it off until later 🫤 I tried, I really did. Maybe I'm expecting too much relying on really old software, or maybe my computer just needed a reboot after being on for so long, who knows?

I just had an idea for the next Hidden Oversights video of Super Mario 64. Both things are pretty short so they'll be combined into 1 video 🙂

A warning to anyone still buying iPhones: If you think you can get your device fixed, you can't. If swapping the parts of 2 brand new, identical model phones causes errors claiming the parts are not genuine Apple parts, you know you're being scammed watch video on watch page

It's almost been a year since my last 42 All Time Classics video, wow! Where has the time gone?

I've been thinking about it on and off for a while now, and I've only been putting it off because of my low energy levels (of anyone saw the last stream I did of it, you'll hear how tired I sounded). I don't know why, but work has been draining me for a while now and I've really wanted to continue this series!

Recently, I unlocked the required games for Mission Mode by playing Stamp Mode (like Field Tactics) and can hop back into playing the rest of the missions soon! Hopefully! I've got a week off work so it looks promising some of those videos will return!

As for other general content, I don't know. I always have video ideas circulating in my mind, it's just the easiest kinds of videos to make have been the only ones I've been posting like the recent Zelda Minish Cap glitch video? I forget and can't be bothered to check lol.

Anyways, time for me to…
Do some overtime at work today because we got a sick call, LMAO 🙃

In my latest video, I showed how to trade any glitch Pokémon from Gen I to Gen II:

Using the same method, I took the shiny Gyarados from Gold/Silver/Crystal, cloned it, sent it to Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow and converted it into a Lapras!
