The divine appearance day of Srimati Sri Radharani!!!
Root word of the name Radha:
"krsna-vancha-purti-rupa kare aradhane ataeva 'radhika' nama purane vakhane".
Her worship (aradhana] consists of fulfilling the desires of Lord Krsna. Therefore the Puranas call Her Radhika.

How to observe Radhastami ?
Prabhupada : Radhastami, birthday of Srimati Radharani. This day the function is observed by fasting up to twelve noon, and then, offer prasadam to the Deity, and generally in the evening we should hold meeting discussing the Radha-Krishna pastimes, especially the glories of Radharani.
