The Triangle Center for Evolutionary Medicine (TriCEM) applies evolutionary and ecological perspectives to improve human, animal, and plant health. We promote innovative developments in the theory and practice of evolutionary medicine by fostering cross-disciplinary collaborations among NC Triangle-based scholars, physicians, veterinarians, public health workers, and more.
TriCEM is jointly operated by Duke University, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina Central University, North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with strong partnerships with the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.
