FEDORA is a non-profit association, founded in 2013 in Paris, under the presidency of Jérôme-François Zieseniss, in tribute to Rolf Liebermann. Today chaired by Stéphane Argyropoulos and directed by Edilia Gänz, FEDORA aims to support the future of opera and dance in Europe. FEDORA acts as a European quality label promoting innovative opera and dance co-productions, created by emerging artists, through the FEDORA Prizes and the Next Stage Grants, as well as its online platform, co-funded by the European Union's Creative Europe programme. FEDORA also encourages public involvement through participatory crowdfunding and voting campaigns for selected artistic projects. The association uniquely combines European public and private funds to develop new artistic funding models to encourage the sustainable, inclusive and digital transformation of the 132 European opera and dance houses that are part of its cultural and philanthropic network.
