Please don’t forget all the things that you already ARE right here, right now.

Because you are so. f*cking. much - so diverse, so full, so abundant, so unique, so brilliant, so divine.

Just for a moment, stop focussing on all the things you aren’t (yet).

Stop focussing on what you haven’t accomplished, on what’s missing, on what you still want to work on, on the ways you aren’t showing up as your highest self yet.

Lay it down.

Let it go.

You deserve to take a moment to really appreciate yourself.

To see everything you’ve already accomplished.

It’s amazing that you are constantly striving to be a better version of yourself, but pause for a moment and realise:

There is nothing missing.

You already have everything you need within.
It’s up to you to open your eyes and see it.

(a little letter to myself) and you ❤️

PS: In coaching, I see my clients for everything that they are (when society makes them focus on everything they aren’t). I see their strengths, their potential, their highest self and after working with me in 1:1 coaching, they can see it too. To me, the most painful part of change is “falling back” into a behaviour that I thought I’d gotten over. 😔 Feeling completely overwhelmed by shame and guilt for doing it again. Not being able to let it go and beating myself up for it for days…

I first experienced this with emotional eating and binge eating. I had listened to my body for a few days, then faced an unexpected challenge and turned to food again to soothe myself. Then, when I already felt uncomfortable and bloated ON TOP OF THAT I beat myself up for it.

I would tell myself…“You’re such a failure.”
“Well done, now all your progress is ruined.”
“You don’t deserve to just forget about it, you have to suffer now.”

These thoughts kept me up for nights as I just wouldn’t allow myself to let it go. I caused myself so much pain by not forgiving myself when I made a mistake.

It took me a lot of inner healing work (and I’m still not done with it) to learn that it’s okay to mess up and fail. What’s important is what I make it mean.🦋

Because YOU can choose what you make “falling back” mean.

You can make it mean that you’re a failure and that all your progress is ruined.

Or you can make it mean that you’re human and this is not defining you.

You choose.

Forgiving yourself and setting the intention to learn from this experience will get you back on track much faster. Not forgiving yourself isn’t helping anyone, really. You deserve to be kind to yourself. 🌷

In life coaching, we change patterns and habits that are no longer serving you. I’ll be with you every step of the way and I’ll be there for you when you’ve messed up to remind you that nothing has gone wrong. 💛 As your coach I’m here to remind you to forgive yourself, get back up and try again tomorrow. So many times, I’ve cried before hopping onto a coaching call.

Often, I go through the exact thing my client is going through.

I’ve been struggling with my mental health a lot over the past few months.

I go through emotional ups and downs on a daily basis.

I am in the midst of healing myself.

AND?
I’m a great life coach for my clients. 🦋

Because I’m not a coach to tell you “Uh, yeah, I’ve figured it all out and my world now is rainbows and unicorns. Come work with me.” 🌈🌺💐🌸🍍

➡️ I’m a coach to tell you “I feel you. It’s normal, nothing has gone wrong. Everything is figureoutable.” 💛

The reason why I can coach my clients through overthinking, emotional eating, self-doubt, a broken heart… is because it hasn’t been long since I’ve been through it myself. I’m only 23 and I’m navigating my twenties. 💁🏽‍♀️

I’m STILL in the process, and I’ll always be.
Because I believe we’re always growing, learning and we’re never “done”. We’re a constant work-in-progress.

I don’t want to be a role model for 👇🏼
“Live a perfect life and be happy all the time.”

I want to be a role model for 👇🏼
“Life sucks sometimes and still, I always get back up.” 🦋

My clients often say that when they talk to me, it doesn’t feel like they talk to a therapist, a professional or someone “above them”.
It feels like they are talking to a friend and that means a lot to me. 🥰
(side note: to a friend who also lovingly calls them out out their victim mentality and tells them the uncomfortable truth if that helps to get them to their goals. 🤓🤭)

If you are interested in 1:1 coaching and you want to find out whether I’m the right coach for you, book a free 60 min consult: bit.ly/3qY37tA

Remember: You don’t have to have it all perfectly figured out to help others.

We are all just figuring life out along the way. We learn as we go. No matter if it’s figuring out your relationship, making a hard decision, forgiving someone, changing careers, breaking up - it takes as long as it takes. ✨

So…

🦋 What if all the doubt was necessary so you can be sure today?

🦋 What if everything that happened to you was necessary so you can become the person you want to be?

🦋 What if every struggle taught you an important lesson?

🦋 What if all the pain and despair taught you how to heal?

🦋 What if you didn’t take too long?

🦋 What if you’re exactly where you are meant to be?

🦋 What if you couldn’t have been there sooner?

Learning to be patient and trust the process is not easy but absolutely worth it. Because what you learn in the process is shaping you into the person you need to be. It’s all working out. 🌱

If you’re in the midst of struggle right now and you’ve lost trust in the process - I can help you. I am a life coach and I’ll help you figure out your thoughts around your problem, and why you feel the way you feel. It all starts with your thoughts, and that’s where the coaching begins. ✨

There won't be a new video up today as I'm facing internet problems 🙃(kinda wanna lay in bed and cry that's how frustrated I am about it #keepingitreal 🤣)
Just a little reminder: if you feel like everything is going wrong, you're running into triggers left and right and life just sucks - you're not alone. ❤️ I feel you! and if you need a little cry break, please take it if it helps 😅💓 Hugs, Laura x

Merry Christmas from my heart to yours 🎄🎅🏼🎁❤️ I’m signing off for 1.5 weeks of Christmas holidays. 🥰 So ready to delete all social media apps, put away my phone and enjoy a digital detox (as much as possible anyways because Christmas movies are still very much necessary 😛🙊).

Thank you so much for your support in 2021. It means so much to me to share my journey with you and connect with you kind souls from all around the world. 💛🌎

My wish for you this holiday season is that in between all the hustle and bustle you take time just for yourself. 🧘🏽‍♀️✨ Nourish, rest, recharge, and find moments of mindfulness. Remember: by filling your own cup you’ll spread beautiful energy to everyone around you, and trust me, the world needs it. 💖

Fröhliche Weihnachten. 🎄🎁🎅🏼
See you in January ❤️

I’m off from work for the next 2,5 weeks for my summer break 😍👋🏻🌞🍹 This is the longest time I’ve been “properly” off work (aka no social media, no emails, nothing) since I started my business in 2017. 😱

Honestly I’m a little bit nervous how this time will be as I truly love my work so much 🥺🦋 Coaching my clients, teaching yoga, creating content gives me so much fulfilment & purpose. So I’m curious to see how this time off from it will be (I’ll for sure keep all my thoughts in my journal 📓 & share all aha-moments with you later).

Since I run an online business and my laptop + phone are absolutely essential, I’ll also use this as an opportunity to detox 📲💻 I’ll delete Instagram & Facebook, only use my phone for keeping in contact with friends & family, and not take my laptop with my on vacation. 🌴 This is probably what I’m most looking forward to - being disconnected and not available really allows me to be present. 🌊

Anyways, I’ll be back on the 31st of August 2021 with vacation pics, deep life thoughts + exciting news for upcoming yoga courses, coaching & more! 🧡 Stay tuned 🌞

Have a lovely time until then.
Namaste 🙏🏼
