The last of my @egx weekend swag was the #SilentHill2Remake. A #game I have been meaning to grab but couldn't find it in stock. #Amazon says it will be in stock in 1-3 months. #Game (or Sports Direct with a piss weak selection of older games and accessories) didn't stock it. No stand in #EGX even had it (despite having SOME modern games). Thank god for Smyths Toys. A #Playthrough one day? Possibly, if the tendency to shit myself on stream becomes tenable (quite possible). That concludes the weekend's swag :P

In other @egx related swag I managed to grab a tasty statue of one of my very few 10/10 #game experiences - that being #Zelda #Majorasmask. I saw this statue (curtesy of nextleveluk.net/) and knew it would be mine! It is now sitting comfortably next to my stacker trays haha. Check it out!

Had a great time @egx guys! I managed to come back with a few cool goodies too! One in particular involves the #Playthrough I'm currently doing - #FinalFantasyVIIRebirth! I saw these amazing Acrylic prints which you can buy lights for to project custom made #Artwork! At #EGX I found 3 #FF7 prints and went for my favourite. The other 2 just didn't do it for me but I figured at least one of my viewers (he knows who he is) would prefer the sexy #Tifa, #Aerith & #Jessie print lol! Anyway, enjoy and I will still see you on Monday 8PM GMT (28/10/2024) for more #Rebirth!

Well, it happened, we have (once again) entered the #Templeoftheancients (experience it here: youtube.com/live/uQ8ngGqLMgA?t=2346s). I was hoping to say something more profound but after 300 hours, I'm out of material lol! Just like last time the temple was interesting to navigate and there were a few little high jinks that ensued (which makes it kind of funny). I was afraid I would be compelled to use too much #MP but thankfully my main trio (#Barret, #RedXIII & #Cloud) seem to be unscathed.
The #Reddragon fight was probably the hardest thing in the joint (seriously his "Crimson Breath" is utterly broken and overpowered). One of my viewers (Nightmare) used a #ATB spamming move to summon infinite #Blizzagas (so he dispatched him quick) and I read a few "strats" online. I'm glad I'm not the only one that found this bit somewhat stupid/hard for no reason. Fire + Elemental in one's armour doesn't protect you against (what are obvious) fire based moves (non-elemental my ass). Alas, a well timed #manawall along with ATB's for urgent cure spells managed to outlast the move (thank god). At least we managed to get past one boss using mostly abilities. #Yuffies casts took a bit of a hit though (mana wall is costly). See you in the next one folks!

Thank you for joining me for more #FinalFantasy7Rebirth action, in this week's 🌟Wacky Weds🌟.I hope to see you again for Part 8-fucking-9 8PM GMT (25/10/2024). So, see you there! What did we do this #Stream? Well 2 things, kicked #Rufus's ass (after dispatching #Elena and #Rude a few times - don't get me started on why) and then got through the last bit of "busy-work" side content (that being the "Can't Stop, won't stop" quest - aptly named, kind of like the #Game itself). I stayed on for 3 hours to ensure I could be done with the side content (that I did not want to do again in the first place) and well, that's why I'm here celebrating now.
My #Rebirth hard mode run was originally just meant to be me experiencing the story fresh (and in full) no side content distractions. A rule I had to break when I heard I wouldn't be getting all the damn manuscripts. I wish they just tied that shit to the story content. Anyway, this marks the end of the Rebirth hard mode side content (experience it here: youtube.com/live/2pd5JnQmhL4?t=4601s) and thank god. To anyone whom has not experienced my trails and tribulations throughout this #Playthrough my ire is merely reserved for how long this side content makes the game... when the core narrative would do it for me. Great to be back with another🔥Monday Madness🔥guys I missed you on Friday! I hope to see you on 🌟Wacky Weds🌟for more #FinalFantasy7Rebirth! Well, I had plenty of fun in todays stream. Touring the #Goldsaucer once again only this time with #Barret on my arm instead of the lovely #Aerith. Picking the other options for #Loveless was also just what the doctor ordered for the Monday blues (hilarious). I'm a little gutted I couldn't dispatch #Rufus before concluding the stream (damn that stupid multi-choice option when you pause on the #Rufus fight is poorly implemented - I've accidentally selected it before and had to refight bloody #Elana and #Rude). Also, I found the lack of a prompt to press square before the #Rufus fight (to amend #Materia) kind of infuriating too.
My highlight though is probably the #Barret Sky-wheel scene which felt very much like a father talking to his son about his life; hopes, mistakes & lessons hard-learnt (experience it in full here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mc3sD.... This felt more intimate to me then the remade #RedXIII #Seto scene (which landed better in the OG - for me anyway), I really think they did a better job with #Barret in this #Remake (over the OG). Of course the touching moment devolves in #Barret's atypical bluntness (and favoured "shooting from the hip") when he simply asks "so who is it?" which girl does #Cloud like?... Which indeed. Maybe we will find out in "Part 3". See you guys in the next one!

Afternoon chiefs, hope your all good! Gonna be real, feeling a bit burnt out today. Things have been hectic at work the last few weeks so I'm going to take a much needed break this weekend/tonight. Thank you for keeping me company for yet another 🌟Wacky Weds🌟 #FinalFantasy7Rebirth stream! I hope to see you again 8PM GMT (18/10/2024) for the next part! We have done all of the #Hard mode "busy work" (side content) for now (with more to come shortly). I'm actually dreading the next stream because I have to face #Rufus and I really hate fighting that parrying-spamming bastard. I will need all the luck in the world and a #Materia combination that will allow me to put him out of commission - fast. I can feel the ending though (it's not far!), its going to be sweet when I finally roll #Credits. I need to be done with #Rebirth. The next series is calling!
In other more fun news one of my viewers (MR. X) got a few more helpings of #Tifa based (side quests) towards the end of the stream (he's a BIG fan). After finally getting through the side content of #Cosmocanyon we have but one region left and its the largest as its comprised of 3 subsections. #Corel, #Costadelsol & the #Goldsaucer areas that not only have lots of open world "busy work" but also more #Minigames to boot... not ones I have to "try" to get a good score in (which then makes me ask why get me to run them again to begin with?). There is no reason, just to attain more damn #manuscripts... which should have just been tied to the main story content.
For my last community post I talked about side quests that are "worth playing". In this one I'm gonna talk about the latter... the ones that exist for cheap laughs and low effort cameos... nothing of real substance to #Rebirth. Zhijie (however you pronounce his fucking name) is a side character in the #Yuffie #Intermission DLC whom you briefly engage with during her solo outing. In #Rebirth his car got damaged by a Giga worm (experience this amazing quest here: youtube.com/live/CMtWDksA8C4?t=1052s) and it's down to #Cloud and the gang to hunt down the worm and kill it (to stop it from destroying other vehicles I guess?). You will track the worm down with a hot and cold device (which you will never see again) and kill the worm. Zhijie leaves (heading to #Wutai) and that's it. Why did I have to run this quest second time again? The #Game would not have suffered at all had this quest been cut and there are many others. Anyway, see you tomorrow for more side content YAY!

Thank you for joining me for last week's 🏆Funtime Friday🏆 #FF7Rebirth stream! I hope to see you again tonight 8PM GMT (14/10/2024) for more! Having cleared the nightmare area of #Gongaga of its (not at all) generic side content (relax it was good for 1 run - not 2 though) we moved on to #Nibelheim (for piano playing, #Chocobo racing) and then down to #Cosmocanyon. This is where I had to redo my (least) favourite #Minigame in the form of chocobo flying through rings (yay Superman 64). It goes without saying I was hoping to avoid all of this in a second run of #Rebirth. Alas, it was not meant to be (fucking manuscripts). There are only a few side quests that I feel are worth playing in the first place let alone coming back and redoing ALL of them.
The constellation side quest (for example) is at the very least expanding on the lore of the #Lifestream and the impact mankind is having on the planet. Not to mention we get to spend some truly intimate moments with #Aerith (check it out here: youtube.com/live/5x8knzdVEb4?t=6460s) which I felt were a little lacking in the main #Game. It honestly feels like #Tifa got the better romance scenes with #Cloud (#Aerith and #Cloud only get as intimate as a hug/cuddle where as #Tifa & #Cloud get a few near miss kissing scenes). I always have sided with the #Aerith romance purely because it is the bigger tragedy when you consider her demise. Now we have new context where I have no idea what's going on and have to wonder if #Aerith's "lack of death" now makes her the weaker choice in this "new" canon. Food for thought.
