First time making weathering effect. I was hesitant to make the desert scene just like the show or something else like forest, etc, as expected the sandy effects covered most of the battle damaged effects on the Dougram. Done with the painting of base color. Primed with black primer and airbrushing steel color as first coat. I tried to use #vallejo chipping medium for the first time. The rest of the base colors were hand painted in stippling manner to create uneven paints on the armor after weathered. As usual, I don’t build model straight out of box. I cut the plastic spikes and replaced with #cosclay hair? (They looked soft in the game). More modifications to do for the diorama. Finally completed. I am not happy with the results. I still need to work on my painting realistic human head skills. Video will be up within a week.
I also found some problems with the head sculpt that I need to go back to fix. Depending on whether there are people interested in the sculpt. Otherwise I just made it for my own collection.
