Hi everyone. I hope everyone is healing and coping well with life.

I've been quiet for so long, mostly because this is an account I made to ship maomao and gougou and when 813 happened, I was told that I have no say in what I post, that I have to remain silent for his sake. So I went silent. Was that a wise choice? Yes, I reckon. We did great!

But then I find it hard to start over.

People tell you to be quiet but no one ever tells you when it's time to finally speak up.

So I decided to watch silently from up here on the mountain, trying to find peace and happiness again.

But it deeply saddens me how the fandom has become. The mountain we're on together seems to break into two (or more) just because of one faceless figure.

I won't tell you who and what to believe. Do what makes you happy and please, take every information or melon with a truckload of salt.

Ask if you're ill-informed. Seek if you're puzzled. Steer away if nothing seems conclusive.

Take care of your heart, they're still healing.

Love,
uminy.

Youyou has always reminded us to not believe anyone when it comes to jz, even herself. No one know the truth aside from jz themselves. We're not kids who would believe anything people tell us, I would like to believe that we know to take every melon and candy with a truckload of salts unless its something said or admitted through their own lips. Please know to differentiate between assumptions and facts.

She gave us company and hope through our hardest time, and that alone is enough for me to stand by her side.

Super short fic for you guys~

Maomao have trustee birds to handle the repercussions when he jumped and knocked over bowls of food for the elephants. The elephants may want their food back, and some even want their food replaced with a whole cane farm but he and the birds will fight for fairness; one for one.

Put your trust in him!

Let's keep calm and enjoy this story.
It was told by my 6 y.o. niece (I love you!) which I turn to whenever I'm sad. She'd give me the most amazing stories to make me feel better and this is one of it.

I hope you enjoy it.

I'll call this one <The crack budgie> lol sorry I'm not that creative.

ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Once upon a time, a baby bird was born and it was adored by its parents. The baby bird could fly but not very well and it asked its parents- what kind of bird am I?

“You’re a very special budgie,” that doesn’t sound very exciting, thought the budgie.

The parents never wanted to tell him that he is a peacock and the royal lineage of their kind and how they are admired all throughout all 7 realms.

Despite his differences, the budgie had a carefree childhood making friends everywhere he went and having best friends who went along with all his mad capers.

He was fast, he was clever and when he got mad at anyone who threatened his friends or family, his growing wings would spread beautiful and bold and fierce, protecting those needing his protection and scaring away the bullies.

One day as he came home from playing, his parents stood in the courtyard with a formidable looking bird. The little one didn’t like the looks on his parents’ faces. “Budgie, come say hello to The Royal Falcon. His Excellency is here to take over your teaching” his mom said, looking worried and almost sad. “Why do I need more lessons? I already go to school and you keep reminding me to do my homework as it is!” The little bird chirped almost to the point of squawking back at his mother. She silenced him with a sharp look.

“I see this little budgie has much to learn about the ways of the world” the Falcon said. With his eyes that looked straight as if to pierce his thoughts, the budgie was uncomfortable but at the same time awed.

The Falcon was a strict teacher and the budgie spent many hours being punished, but during that time, his body had also started to grow longer, his train becoming more pronounced and a crown had started to form and he was looking less and less like a budgie. The lessons were not always just about arduous repetition of texts, stories of heroism and loyalty and discussions of philosophy, there were also hard physical lessons of flying, of combat, of athleticism and fair contest.

“There are 5 precious vases on the table, each can buy you everything your heart desires, what do you do?” The Falcon asked, holding his head weary from teaching one so precocious.

“I walk past? Why do I need the vases?” The budgie asked, confused.

“Because they will make your rich and powerful!” the Falcon slammed the books and roared, his impatience getting the better of him at the sheer naivety he was witnessing.

“You are teaching me to be strong, to be fair, to be brave and to have pride in whatever I do. Why do I need to take something I don’t need? Why is power and wealth so important?” The student challenged, his feathers then fanning out, shimmering to show his belief in winning the right way instead of taking advantage of or depriving resources to those weaker.

The Falcon was struck speechless, unable to hide his concern at this level of purity.

“I don’t want to be rich and powerful. Isn’t it enough to just have enough and to just be happy with what you have? Fine, I’ll take a vase if it means everyone will be happy,” the budgie continued, the conflict and anger bursting from his eyes.

The Falcon, always respected for being a visionary strategist, had no answer to his Budgie’s heartbreaking dilemma, to rebuke such foolishness seemed the right thing to do as his teacher but his heart could not bear to raise the voice to scold. And so instead, he sullenly dismissed the growing peacock so he could fly for a while, scanning the horizon, willing his superior vision to show the future, an impossibility even for someone as fearsome as him.

One day as they were walking along the lake, the Falcon turned to his young charge and said “My little budgie, my time with you will come to an end soon. I will teach you one last lesson. It is about believing in the universe. There will come a time in your life when all seems lost, even yourself, and at that time, remember, you are borne of the noblest of birds, these feathers that you have, many will covet them, many will want to touch, some will want to pull, to steal and may even kill to get them. But do not fear little one, your precious feathers belong only to you and no one, no matter how powerful or how rich and how many of them come at you all at once, no one, no power, no groups will ever be able to own these feathers other than you” the Falcon resting his wings gently on the shoulders of the young peacock - young, beautiful and majestic made even more by the light that seemed to emanate from him.

“Be careful with your steps but there will always be people and situations you cannot control. Don’t doubt yourself then. People will say cruel and unkind things, lies about everything and you will wonder if you are truly as stupid as they say. Trust me when I tell you, you are none of these things. Trust in yourself. I know that at that time, you will want to protect those you love with your life, but you must also remember to let love protect you too,” the Falcon looked almost sorrowful at the thought of a fate almost inevitable for this student who had become so precious but only for a split second before he flew to perch on a higher branch and barked at his budgie to recite 3 of the longest great military poems. The young adult bird nodded, afraid for himself but taking the lesson into his heart.

....

The peacock laid on the ground, bloodied, dying from the relentless assault, his body naked from all the feathers that had been ripped, pecked and shorn from his head, his nape, his body and his train. Despite his distressed state, lying here alone, he seemed calm. In his shallow laboured breath, his mind remembered to return his heart to his happiest memories and in that moment, the light within that was almost diminished rekindled anew to also let love protect him. All around him, the gnashing teeth, the blood caked claws, eyes wild and desperate willing for the end they had all come to witness, each holding the feathers they had come to claim, untrusting eyes staring at those around to wonder if they can also claim the feathers held by the weaker ones in their tainted brotherhood.

Just then, as victory seemed certain to those unworthy, the feathers that they held in hand suddenly seemed to disappear before their very eyes. Each feather rising up, shaking, piecing together, glowing now even more luminous and gently reattaching themselves onto the peacock’s neck, chest, body, wings and train.

Before their disbelieving eyes, the peacock’s colours returned and even with his eyes still closed and his head still bowed from the exhaustion of the attack, the peacock is lifted onto his feet, the last of the formation of his crest forming and setting once again on the crown, his majesty reclaimed. The incandescent peacock then looked at his attackers, his eyes sharp and clear, his being regal as he said “be careful what you wish for,” in words cold and soft to accompany the rush of receding steps of the greedy packs, neither their feet nor feathers quick enough to escape the licks of the inferno that engulfed them.

Happy September!
Yay! My fav month!
You know what? I believe September will be better for all of us~

To celebrate this, I'll tell you a boring story. You don't have to read it cause its...boring.

[This is a fic and I is not me]

I went for my night walk yesterday around the neighborhood. It has been long since I care to enjoy the pain on my legs but I they say it's good for my mind, so I went anyway.

It wasn't that late but the sky was already dark. I strolled along the steep walking path, dragged out beside the highs of the wall encaging the houses of many until I stepped on a level ground. I was already heaving then. Yes, my stamina is that bad.

Then I heard a distant barks and kids screaming.

I turned my head to see two kids; the bigger one with a stick in his hand, another with a cat dangling in his hand by the legs. That's not how you hold a cat, was the first thought that came to my mind. Yes, I completely ignored the fact that there's a big dog showing its fang near them.

"Oi," I shouted. "What are you guys doing?"

"This dog is trying to bite us!" the kid with the stick answered, shoving his frail looking piece of wood towards the dog but the dog wasn't budging. It actually made the dog angrier.

I saw the focus in the dog eyes wasn't on the stick and more so on the squiggling feline that was somewhat swung in the air.

"And what's with the cat?"

"We're just playing with it when this dog came. Can you get this dog away, big sis?"

I thought about it for a while, then remembered that I knew the dog. And I knew the cat. I've feed them before. Though that was a story of probably, last two months.

"You should let the cat go first."

"Huh?" the smaller kid looked at the cat in his hand, seemingly having forgotten he was holding one in the first place. Then, almost on reflex, he let go.

The cat landed on the ground, leapt towards the empty road rather frantically, its majestic fur sprung up, tensed.

The dog followed suit. Barking as it chased after the cat until both of them disappeared at the end of the road.

I heard the kids sighed in relief. "So it just wants the cat? Will it eat the cat?" they asked.

I laughed. Thinking back about it, I think I sounded sinister laughing after such question.

Of course the dog wasn't going to eat it. They're best friends who eat, play, and sleep together.

But I didn't tell them that. Instead, I turned around, dreading the long walk home, not before I shouted,

"Even if it does, it's none of your business!"

Yes, I'm bitter like that, to everyone.

My mom used to say, "choose a man from how he treats his mother because that's how he'll treat you".

And ma, I found a man who loves his mother tremendously. He treats her like she is the queen, he talks about her like she's a saint and she is indeed a saint for her son grew like no other, honest and upright, loyal and sincere, kind and passionate.

And I love him.

Ma, I found him.
