Started in 2023 the official band for the artist (stage name Rachel Ann Kendrick) was created with the name Dark Raven or shortened sometimes to DRK-RVN.
The name implies a connection to nature but also comes from the Raven in Edgar Allan Poe’s famous gothic poem.
Music was created while keeping visual art in mind as Rachel started out as a visual artist and painter. Each song is its own experiment and experience unique in style.
Groundbreaking work in this field of sound and visuals each song is in itself a expression of artistic energy and creativity.
It is in this different way from how a traditional musician would have the work come together we see a unique layering of music and vocals.
Gothic undertones and alien sounds mix with varied styles of music and instruments.
