DT:Premiere | Vakat - Melem [Collapse]
https://youtu.be/KqsC_Ktwyus
Collapse is an underground techno with a sparse yet quality release schedule that has seen contributions such as Stanislav Tolkachev collaborating with Albert Chiovenda, Eduardo De La Calle, and Eric Fetcher.
Vakat is based in Montenegro and has become a leading figure in their techno scene having shared the booth with people such as Jeff Mills, Chris Liebing, Lewis Fautzi and Insolate.
For this DT:Premiere we selected "Melem" with a steady build of quality hypnotics and spacey textures. The analogue groove is raw and punchy while the sci-fi aesthetics, swirling hi-hats and modular notes add to its expansive sound that will also work the dance floor into a frenzy.
