don't resist the feelings of depression and anxiety, sit with it a bit, and let it go. keep talking the steps, let the emotions and sensations pass through you. don't cling to it, accept it, and let it go.
depression and anxiety is always with me, at times, it seems like it is too much to bear alone. take the helping hand of a friend, spouse, or therapist. take what society offers you, counseling or medication.
sometimes the best thing I have found to work through my anxiety and depression is to voluntarily put myself through physical exertion or difficulties and being honest with myself and others on how I'm feeling, sometimes that leads to difficult conversations with loved ones.
being honest with myself and voluntarily stepping towards my difficulty has helped me greatly.
but let me warn you, it gets worse before it gets better.
