The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has condemned recent "unsavoury and distasteful" remarks by one of its communicators directed at former President John Agyekum Kufuor. In a recent interview on TV XYZ, the culprit, Dela Edem, was noted for hurling insults at former President Kufuor.
He accused the former president of destroying the Ghana cedi and the economy, adding that “his evil deeds have landed him in a wheelchair.”
The viral video has since drawn strong criticism from a wide section of Ghanaians, including the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which described the comments as “despicable, disgraceful and shameful.”

Rahim Ayew, eldest son of Ghanaian football legend Abedi Pele Ayew, has expressed his disappointment with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) over their decisions regarding the Black Stars captaincy.
