in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
The ISP tested the other modem and it was fried as well by the thunderstorm. A new one will hopefully be here this week at some stage. It's currently in the hands of Australia Post.
According to the local computer store quite a few other customers have been replacing computer peripherals due to the series of proceeding storms after the one that blew the modem.
And also my monitor.
The God of Thunder laughed at my mortal surge protection lol.
Hopefully I will be up and running soon on the online part of the business. The Support Work side is keeping me plenty busy and it may get hectic very soon.
So it will be a balancing act of personal energy so I don't overload. I just gave you a hint of one of the videos to be posted đ

Wilson!
In Australia our internet requires two modems. One to access the NBN and then the regular modem.
The NBN modem is replaced and working but it appears the other modem also got fried in the thunderstorm.
So awaiting the provider to get back to me to confirm it's fried so we can get a new one orderd.
So maybe longer than expected until the next upload. Thanks for your patience and enjoy the back catalogue of EFT Tapping videos intuitive chats.

Internet should be restored this Friday so I'll recommence the videos next week.
Got some good videos including some chats.
The storm also fried my neighbours modem as they got delivered a new one yesterday.
But good thing about having it being delivered on Friday, is that another storm this time with hail is creeping in today.
So at least I am receiving my new one in somewhat calmer weather.
And I'm about to support a client right in the middle of it. đ
We have a safe backup plan so well be good. The joys of living in Queensland. Dexter the cat is handling the weather like a champ.

There may be a delay in this weeks videos. Eflowtion Support Services is based in Brisbane, Australia. A sub-tropical climate area. We get cycles of humidity then thunderstorms in summer.
We had a thunderstorm come through last night and despite being on a surge protector the modem got fried. Iâll be ordering a new one tomorrow.Â
As you can see by this post, I do have some form of internet connection and can still do videos for Youtube, but itâs whether I can upload them. If anything I may have a backlog of videos develop.
For online bookings Iâve blocked out times temporally and will update the availability once a stable connection is restored.
A good thing is Support Work clients are unaffected so business as usual.
This scene from Zoolander depicts me problem solving the internet issues. Things are evolving nicely.

Weâve arrived at the weekend yet again. At least here in Australia.
And as I saddle a kangaroo and bounce off into the sunset to throw another shrimp on the barbie, I want to say hello and welcome to the new subscribers to this channel.
Hello also to the awesome EFT Tappers from Brazil your support and comments are most welcome đ¤đ§đˇ
Iâm thinking of doing a different type of video next week, yet Iâll think it through a bit more. Iâve been having a bit of working holiday atm yet Iâll look to increase productivity soon.
As you may have picked up on, a lot of content on this channel is geared towards trauma recovery.
I will always look to ground EFT Tapping in healing the issues that affect us rather than bypass them all together. Itâs hard to have abundance when you feel lack from within.
So healing the hurt that makes you feel worthless will make you feel whole and complete again. Rather than looking to an external source to fulfil it.
Itâs about building the demonstrated capacity to manage lifeâs challenges without the overwhelm of early childhood trauma impeding our ability to cope.
Reducing the negative to allow the positive to arise. Rather than avoiding the negative and focusing so hard on the positive that you already possess. Or regulating a dysregulated nervous system.
Until the next video. Have a great weekend! đŚđ

Ever wondered how the brain reacts in times of danger? When faced with trauma, our brain flips into âsurvival modeââand itâs fascinating! đ§ â¨
đš Brainâs Response: The amygdala triggers a âfight, flight, or freezeâ reaction, sidelining logic to focus purely on survival. Blood rushes to muscles, adrenaline spikes, and memory functions often pauseâso youâre fully engaged in survival.
đš Impact on Memories: This response explains why trauma survivors may recall fragmented memories. Itâs the brainâs way of protecting us, even if it disrupts the neat timeline of events.
đš Trauma Signs: Trauma can manifest as depression, flashbacks, or even numbness. Sometimes survivors experience social withdrawal, guilt, or shameâsymptoms that show how deeply trauma affects us.
đš How to Support: For those supporting survivors, creating a safe environment and asking sensory-focused questions can help in recalling memories. Remember, patience and understanding go a long way! đź
Understanding trauma is about recognizing a normal response to abnormal events. Together, letâs make compassionate support the norm! đ

Ever felt like you froze in a tense moment? Or maybe, you've experienced a deep sense of detachment, like your body just powered down? These are trauma responses known as freeze and shutdownâand they affect our ability to cope in different ways.
⨠Freeze: Think of this as your bodyâs âpause button.â Muscles tense up, and youâre hyper-aware, ready to act if needed. While itâs a protective response, staying stuck in freeze can make it hard to move forward, keeping us âon holdâ instead of coping and taking action. This response keeps us vigilant but often leaves us feeling exhausted without the relief of resolution.
⨠Shutdown: When things get overwhelming, shutdown is the bodyâs âpower-saving mode.â Heart rate and breathing slow, and emotions may go numb. While this detachment is protective, it can leave us feeling disconnected and unable to address challenges. In shutdown, we may feel apathetic or helpless, struggling to engage with whatâs happening around us.
These responses can make everyday coping difficult, as they either keep us on edge or withdrawn, unable to fully process or respond to stressors. Recognizing these states allows us to introduce grounding and calming practices, which can help us step out of freeze or gently re-engage from shutdown. đŤ

đą Healing Trauma: Exploring New Avenues for Recovery with Dr. Bessel van der Kolk
In a world where trauma affects millions, pioneering psychiatrist Dr. Bessel van der Kolk challenges the conventional methods of healing. Having worked with PTSD patients for over 50 years, he reveals that traditional medications like Prozac and Zoloft fall short for many. But what if there are better ways to heal?
đĄ Alternative Therapies Making a Difference:
1. Self-Compassion & Psychotherapy:
Therapy isnât just about fixing people; itâs about recognizing pain and building self-compassion. Dr. van der Kolk highlights how understanding that âmy reactions are okayâ is crucial to recovery.
2. EMDR Therapy:
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing may sound unusual, but its impact on trauma survivors is profound. By guiding patients through memories, EMDR helps rewire the brain to view past trauma from a place of safety.
3. Yoga & Mind-Body Connection:
Yoga does more than stretch musclesâit reconnects individuals with their bodies, helping them breathe, calm, and feel safe within. In fact, Dr. van der Kolkâs studies found it can be even more effective for PTSD than medication!
4. Role-Play & Self-Discovery through Theater:
Programs like âShakespeare in the Courtsâ offer unique healing by allowing participants to explore different roles and emotions, reshaping their self-concept through the art of performance.
5. Neurofeedback:
Using brainwave monitoring, neurofeedback trains the mind to focus and relax, offering a new, tech-based approach to mental well-being.
6. MDMA (Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy):
Once a controversial topic, MDMA therapy is now showing groundbreaking results in trauma treatment. Under the guidance of professionals, patients revisit traumatic memories with compassion, allowing them to let go and grow.
Why It Matters:
Healing from trauma isnât a one-size-fits-all journey. Dr. van der Kolk reminds us that each methodâfrom yoga to psychedelicsâmay offer unique benefits depending on individual needs. Recovery is personal, experimental, and deeply transformative.

đ Trauma vs. Stress: How They Shape Our Lives Differently đ
We all know stressâit comes and goes with daily challenges. But trauma? Trauma embeds itself in our minds and bodies, creating lasting changes that shape how we experience the world.
Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, author of 'The Body Keeps the Score', explains that while stress fades, trauma lingers, rewiring our brains and affecting our ability to connect, find joy, and even stay physically healthy.
Trauma makes the body feel constantly on edge, even after the danger is gone, leading to problems in relationships, physical health issues, and a persistent sense of unsafety.
Healing from trauma is complex, but building supportive communities and trauma-aware societies is key to making real recovery possible. đ

The weekend might almost be here, but a new EFT Tapping video has already arrived.
It's been a week of discovering a new sense of style for myself. I've been updating and getting rid of furniture and getting a sense of style in my home.
One of the things since leaving home long ago and during the marriage was, I've not really had an aesthetic or home where my "voice" of what I would like as my style in my own home.
It's been either thrown together or what I was allowed to have. Rather than what I wanted to express as me in my own home.
So given the freedom I've been slowly replacing, renewing and recovering of what "sparks joy" for me. Which turns out to be pretty tasteful but simplistic. I don't require much but what I have I have a sense of value within.
Less clutter, less fuss to deal with. Calming and classy.
Though my possessions are not a measure of my worth. It's more about having a place that's my own and a space to be myself.
Dexter the cat also approves of the choices and is enjoying the massage gun that he has claimed for himself. It's stressful bossing me around, but, such is the life of a cat.
As such, I haven't been able to release as many videos as I wanted this week. The reason for the two-month break in videos was I was covering while a parent of a support work client was recovering.
So rather than doing more than what was my ability to cope, or going beyond my capacity by worrying about Youtube and those actually engaged in the services I provided, I hit pause on the videos so I could give my attention to my support clients.
Now I'm hitting play again and having some fun playing with ideas that have been lying dormant for a while.
I very much think today's song from Glass Animals is fitting for today's EFT Tapping video. Sometimes taking the mind and bodies focus of stress and doing something as simple as dancing can help our ability to cope in profound ways.
So enjoy your weekend and keep being your awesome selves â¤ď¸
