We're at the Western Wake Farmer's market this morning! If you're in the area (central NC) feel free to check us out until 12pm today! We'll be returning next Saturday too and take pre-orders if you want to pick up any hardy citrus in person 🍊🌱

We love that frogs and toads use our greenhouse and fig trees to relax on a hot day!

Maypops aplenty! We're going to have a ridiculous crop this year from just 3 small plants. Just one would be enough for any reasonable person!

Delicious Chicago Hardy fig! These have been so consistently good no matter if they are 80-90% ripe or 100% ripe, nor if it rains for a week straight or it's completely dry. This reliability and productivity paired with its berry flavor make this fig a gold standard in my opinion.

The multi-grafted Rose of Sharon in all its glory. Flower colors are solid white, white/light pink with red center and pink with red center. I'm surprised no one really grafts these, they took very easily when grafted around mid-Spring.

Variegated porcelain berry found in the wild... beautiful but highly invasive!

Our Minnesota Midget Melon ripened all the way to the rind! Beautiful, full color and cantaloupe scent. I imagine this variety would also grow well in containers/hydroponics.

Drying figs this weekend! These Atreano-type figs from a tree nearby ripened early but it's been raining a lot more lately so the flavor was watered down. Dehydrating them made much better use of the fruit.
