Hey gamers, I wanted to give you an update on some TIER lists videos I want to make. I haven't made a tier list in over two years, but I am happy to say I have TWO projects in the works. One with Metroidvanias, and one with Roguelites.

First, the big one that most people have found my channel for. The roguelite tier list. I have made a few tier lists tied behind roguelites because I've played so many, but I want this one to be different. I want to get as many games as I possibly can on it, and REALLY play the hell out of them. I already have a list of about 30+ roguelites to play. Most of them have never had any spotlight on this channel. If you have any suggestions, please tell me now. I'll look it up and determine if I want to add it to the list. This project will take a while because I still want to play new releases, and make videos of them (like Assassin's Creed: Shadows). But when it does release. It will be incredible (I hope.)

Metroidvania tier list is more simple. Just gotta beat the game. I have played a lot, but if you have any games from that genre I should check out. Sound off below.

I've made a few different videos as of late with 'Achievement Hunt' videos, and I do intend to make more of those, but really I've realized I want this channel to just be video games I love to play. So some videos will be big releases, some will be achievement hunts, some will be some indie game you have never heard of. I just like video games.

Thanks for reading, and supporting. Very excited about these big projects.

Hey friends, it's been almost a month since the last upload and I wanted to give an update on it, and life as a whole.

First I will say I am almost done with a video on Star Wars Outlaws achievement hunt (maybe not what you expected). I'm hoping to have it out within the next week. It would have been done already, but, I got sick recently and was not able to work on it for a week, and after the sickness I had no motivation to do anything, and I am still struggling with a lack of motivation on some things, but the video is still almost done, and I'm extremely happy with how the video is coming along.

I do have a couple more videos planned. I'm currently playing Moonlighter and was going to make an achievement hunt video on it, but I might just make a more in-depth review after 100%ing it. It has more negatives than I expected, and making an achievement hunt video on it does not really sound fun.

Longer term videos I might make one last tier list for every roguelite I've played since my last tier list (it's been about two years), but that's in the air. I do want to make another achievement hunt video for Assassin's Creed Shadows when it releases and I might do that. I really like the achievement hunts, so I'm sticking to them a bit more while still having some other videos planned.

Sorry for a little month hiatus. It wasn't planned, but lack of motivation from being sick has really set me back, and me just having impostor syndrome and being self-conscious about my editing. Sorry again, but I look forward to having a video done very soon.

Thanks for your patience and support.

Hey friends. It’s been a few weeks since the last video and just felt I’d give you an update. First and foremost, happy new year to you, and I hope your holiday season was fantastic! (If you don’t celebrate I hope it was still a great time)

Now where are the videos? Well, to be honest. There hasn’t been many new games releasing that have really piqued my interest in terms of making a video on them. I have a few projects I’m working on slowly and in the back end. My main focus is a more passion project compared to a typical review. I’m really liking how it’s going so far, and really think this will be my best video when it’s all said and done (I’m guessing it will be about 45 minutes long). I’m not sure when it will release, or if it will be the next video.

Most of the games I review I play on Twitch, but lately I’ve been playing a lot of Marvel Rivals, and HELLDIVERS 2. Games I don’t have much of an interest in making a video for, therefore the videos have been a touch slower.

I apologize for it, but hope you understand! I’ll tell you the current passion project is about Enter the Gungeon, and I also aim to make a video about Slay the Spire in the near future.

Thanks for your support and here’s to a great 2025!

Hey friends. Wanted to give an update since it's been a few weeks since the last video, don't worry this is good news!

I have started working on a video on TMNT: Splintered Fate and am aiming to have it out within the next week or so! Really happy with how it's coming out now. I have another bigger project I'm working on that does not have an ETA, but plenty of videos will be coming in the next couple months!

Thanks for support as always <3

Hey everyone. Wanted to do a quick update. I’m going to try and stream on this channel a few times a week.

Not 100% sure what days it will be but I’d start the stream around 10AM-12PM EST. I plan on doing any roguelites or indies im playing, or even retro achievement hunting.

Hope to see you on a stream sometime!

Hey everyone. It's time for one of those content updates, but I think this one is a more 'serious' one. So, let's just jump into it.

First and foremost, everyone who watches and likes the videos, I greatly appreciate your support. I cannot say thank you enough for people taking some of their time of their busy days to watch my videos, which are typically about Indie games and roguelites. We're close to 13,000 subs and that's insane to me, so, thank you for the support.

I want to post here because I feel like I'm in more of a rut with videos as of late. I love making videos about indies and roguelites. I don't see that changing anytime soon, but I feel over the past few years the growth has not fully been there. Sure, tier lists, and top 10s can easily get more traction than other videos, and I do enjoy making them (hell I have a few planned for the next few months), but I have this impostor syndrome that tells me I'm not really that good at YouTube because most of my videos never gain to much traction. Of course, over 1,000 views is still insane for a video, but for long term growth, I feel some change is needed in the direction of content, better editing, and/or better marketing of titles and thumbnails. At the pace that this channel and Twitch are going, I'm not sure how much of a window I have for being a fulltime creator. I need to find a way to improve my videos to help gain more attention, while still being true to myself.

With that said. I'm still going to make videos on indies, roguelites, and metroidvanias, of course. I genuinely love making videos for these smaller games and giving them exposure, but I am currently working on a 'small' passion project that is a lot different from my general content. If you don't know, I absolutely love achievement hunting, and always have. So, I'm currently working on a video about gaining all the achievements on one of my favorite games from Xbox 360 (still trying to get the achievements and continue writing, but hopefully be out in a few weeks). I'm really excited to see what this project can become and if it will do well.

I've always tried to upload a video every week, or every other week, but I'm going to try and take some extra time between videos to fully immerse myself in whatever game I'm playing and make the best video possible. I hope you can understand and do know I appreciate the patience while I try to improve my content the best way that I can.

And if you do want some extra content, that isn't super edited. I do have a Podcast (‪@InterviewingIndies‬) that you can check out. I'm trying to upload weekly, but we'll see with how busy I can be,

Thanks for supporting,

It's time for another update and this ones a big one!

So, first and foremost I wanted to tell you all that I started a Podcast on a new channel (‪@InterviewingIndies‬ is the channel). The Podcast is focused on me talking to Indie Game developers about the ups and downs in their journey with game making. I'm aiming to have an episode out every Monday. The first episode is already out where we talk to RubyDev from Tiny Rogues!

Second, I am currently working on a video about Crypt Custodian. I'm aiming for some longer term projects as well (not just tier lists) and am looking forward to getting those done when I can.

I appreciate the patience and support as I take time to upload videos on this channel. I'm only one person and don't want to burn myself out, so, that's why uploads aren't as consistent. Regardless, I appreciate the support and thank you for reading.

Hey all I wanted to give an update as I have some bigger videos planned, but don't have a timeframe to release them.

Currently I'm playing TONS of Metroidvania games on Twitch and am doing a challenge where I try to beat nine Metroidvanias before August begins (I've already beaten 4), but with that I wanted to make a tier list ranking every Metroidvania I've played, but think I need to play a few more to have a solid list. So with the nine Metroidvanias I might just reviewing all nine of them. Some newer, some old, either way they've been a lot of fun.

I hope to have something out before this video, but I'm not sure what it would be as these nine games have been consuming a lot of my time (but I've been enjoying it). If my next video is about this subject, then so be it.

Thanks for always supporting and thanks for 12,000 subs. We just hit it, so thank you.

Hey it's time for the usual content update!

I'm going to be away visiting family from June 30th-July 6th so there won't be any videos on this channel around that time. I do want to have a video scheduled for that time, but can't promise anything.

I just started working on a video for a VERY GOOD 'boomer shooter' I played. I'm trying to get even more in depth with the review process and the script. With that said, it might take a tad longer to have it released. (which is why I might not have a video scheduled for when I'm away). But my goal is to have this video out before I leave (so far I'm really happy with the script).

Outside of that. I don't have much else to share. Like most people I'm addicted to Elden Ring (DLC just dropped) so I'm not playing as many indies at the moment, but am always keeping my eye on them. I do have a few shorts for indies I play, but don't think will as popular in a more in depth video. I might have a couple more of those in the next week

Thanks for reading and supporting.
