In this release, you'll discover a collection of songs for all occasions. It was originally envisioned as a therapeutic series for traumatic disorders, addressing experiences like those in nursing homes, feelings of abandonment, grief and loss, borderline disorders, and various anxieties. While that precise vision didn't fully materialize, I sincerely hope these songs find the right people when they need them most.

A simple five-track recording, this album came to life in Rouen within just one week. Its sonic palette includes drums from a cr-78, a plex 2 pad synth, dreamstation dxi2 bass, a serum noise generator, and the california bay ocean sounds library that was made by reddit user u/freetousesounds. You can also find a music video on the Dopo Goto channel, which was created simultaneously and features a simulated swimming turtle gliding under the ocean surface in Marina del Rey Bay.
This video was originally designed to be an interactive breathing experience, with your breath syncing to the ocean turtle's movements. However, I decided against including a specific inhale/exhale timer. I was worried someone might get lightheaded or even worse, so I opted to let the turtle simply explore the ocean instead.

I wanted to share that I contributed "A Song Made of Liquid to the soundtrack of the Axyz project, a perspective-shifting puzzle game developed by Space Lion Studios. You can find more information about the game on their steam page if this genre interests you and you appreciate retro visuals (ps 3 era) and well-crafted soundtrack (many talented producers participated in creating a nostalgic atmosphere for this game).
If you enjoyed games such as marble madness, ballance, super monkey ball or marble blast, Axyz might be something you'd like to try.
Feel free to visit Space Lion Studios' Steam page

Bandcamp listeners. I added a small telling beneath each track. not stories, not in the usual way. More like the bones of things. where it came from. the reasons, such as they were. Gonna do it slowly to the rest of my discography.
Listen if you will. read if it takes you.

The visuals from the cartoon you saw while listening to A Song to Dream About the Future featuring Sara Damaris originate from a soviet cartoon called A Miracle by Anatoly Petrov.
Set in the future, it depicts two children traveling across the city using various forms of transport to witness a miracle, which is revealed to be a small birch sprout breaking through the asphalt.
The idea of using pieces of that animation in my work has been on my mind for a long time. Until Sara came up with the lyrics and vocals, it was just separate elements; then, everything connected.
Check this short animation here www.imdb.com/title/tt1075791/
And definetely go through Anatoly Petrov biography en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anatoly_Petrov_(animator)
Anatoly Petrov chose a rare and complex three-dimensional animation style. He actively moved the virtual camera, showing scenes from various angles, which added volume and dynamism to his cartoons. And it was all made in 70s!!!

Regarding the mastering of this album: it involved a somewhat unusual chain (final touch). The audio and visual components were recorded to toshiba hi-hi vcr M-HF845. This particular model, to my knowledge, is unique in featuring a built-in parametric equalizer. Never seen something like that before/
As noted by some on the audioengineering subreddit and gearspace forums, this method can offer a lower-cost alternative to traditional reel-to-reel tape, complete with inherent artifacts. These include random phasing, potentially collapsing the signal to mono if the tape stock is sufficiently aged.
We used someones tape with wedding footage from 95. And as a result the audio is reproduced with very loud bass presence and without notable high-frequency harshness, exhibiting a smooth roll-off beyond 10k. And what I like the most is that songs are full of various flutter and wow effects with almost no hiss.
Igor, thank you once again!
P.S. @probnotstech did a review of this equipment

Just wanted to share a little inspiration behind the artwork of the new album. For my own hardware projects, I've been diving into pcb layouts, components selection and placement and David Cook's articles from his own website robotroom.com have been incredibly helpful.
His book, "Robot Building for Beginners," is also fantastic if you're just starting out. You can find all his books here: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009IXN49Y/ref=as_li_tf_…
Check out his website (it's full of amazing articles) if you're into robotics, electronics, or just appreciate all things electronic!

As I'm putting the finishing touches on "The Songs From The Disc 2", I wanted to ask you for help.
The final track will be called "A Song to Remember."
To celebrate this heartfelt and nostalgic song, I wanted to make it this way: a community-driven slideshow filled with your most cherished memories from whatever era you are.
It could be a photo of the people you loved then and still do – your siblings matching outfits, traveling pictures, thanksgiving, senior years, your cats and dogs, your partner during your early days together, your parents looking youthful, or even beloved grandparents. Maybe it's a picture of a christmas gift, a flower you grew that reminds you of a specific time, or a polaroid of an old friend.
Whatever it is, if it's a picture that brings a wave of nostalgia and holds a precious memory for you, I want to engrave it into the last video. And to make this slideshow truly special, please add a short story or a little context about why this particular photo is so unforgettable to you and what it represents from that time.
You can share your photos and their stories by sending a direct message to dopogoto at gmail dot com . Please mention that your photo is for the "A Song to Remember" in the suject of a message.
