Today is the day, I (we) avoid 🚓. Today is ◇BAD FRIDAY. ◇ #CoralGardenMassacre . The most dangerous day to be a RasTafarian in that dreadful 1960s. The few weeks before and after Police 🚨 & Residence tortured us.
When police kill Rastas, chop off dem locs, rape the women and abused & bullied kids. cut 📴& tear out locs with SCALPS ATTACHED.
😭 Don't worry we ain't forgotten.
It's part of #RasTafarian history & as long as we have breathe, this atrocity will be regurgitated 🛞to avoid a repeat.

Making money off our pain, a tourist attraction , everything #Jamaican RasTafarian culture in a... AFTER years of deprivation desegregating the culture 🚗heritage.

Society, be mindful, ask your grandparents , grant aunts and uncles or that big woman and man in your community. They will tell you how from politriks, to the CJS and the citizens made it difficult.

Join us for the #DomesticAbuseAgainstMenExist & #DomesticViolenceAgainstMenExist Symposium, an event dedicated to raising awareness, educating the public, and providing support for male victims of domestic abuse and violence. Taking place 👂🏿19th November in Kingston & 20th November in #StThomasJa maica in honour of #InternationalMensDay. This symposium aims to break the stigma, encourage open discussions, & highlight the resources available for men facing domestic abuse.
Objective: Our mission is to shine a light on the often-overlooked issue of domestic abuse against men. We strive to create a supportive environment where #malevictims can share their stories, receive valuable information, and find the strength to seek help and support.

- Male Victims of Domestic Abuse & Violence: Offering a safe space for men to speak out, find solidarity, & access resources to help them rebuild their lives.
