New article for Heresy Thursday and its weird...

Maybe it's just me but I find a lot of these poses a tad weird. There are so great mini's like this Iron Warriors praetor and EC duelist but some of these others stand out to me as slightly awkward.
What is especially strange is this power spear/power lance pose, I thought it looked awkward on release and this has just solidified that feeling. Maybe there is a way to get this to work, but I'm not seeing it :(
Perhaps the most annoying thing for me is how many of these options should have been released way earlier and with copies of each option, as it stands it'll be tricky to out fit a whole squad with a single option.
Lastly I find it strange that they are still calling these articles "Heresy Thursday" as it would imply to me that this is a weekly post every Thursday, but the last 3 have all been weeks apart (see last pic)! That's not a bad thing, I'd rather have no news than bad news but it with only 3 articles relating to Heresy in 2 months it makes me question how much GW actually cares.
By the by, not great...
Still, just because GW doesn't care doesn't mean we don't! I'm sure the community will be able to make this upgrade kit work and look great!

The Monkey's Paw curls another finger...
I wanted more plastic Mechanicum models and that I got... balls.
Arlatax especially have been needed for ages to give Mech more wiggle room, especially in fast attack. Along with Vorax in plastic to take the edge of the FW mark up. However getting them for Legions Imperialis in stead of Horus Heresy is just frustrating, UNLESS this is a combined release for both games but I doubt that.
As always, this could be a hoax until it gets confirmed via GW but we'll have to wait and see!
What are you guys hoping for? Especially now that we've got the road map (LOL).
Also I've got a hold of the new Martian Civil war book and they'll be a review soon!

Srsly though this was an absolute menace to edit and I'm thrilled to finally have it out for all of you!
A friend of mine said my editing time line looks like I've had both my wrists broken, so I'm sure any editors in the crowd will burst a blood vessel seeing this!
I'm really looking forward to any feed back and thoughts on this one, as I've incorporated (what I think at least) better editing techniques, exporting, sound mixing and more to improve the quality of the vids, so please let me know how this vid measures up to the old ones!

New kill team box! My thoughts are...mixed...
On one hand, great to get more stuff you under appreciated models/factions. Scions have long languished with only a handful of kits and its nice to see GW actually leaning into the elite drop troop elements, (I'm still salty about imperial guard air cavalry not being a thing, the elysian drop troops died for this). Likewise the new vespids look great, that kit was ancient and its great
Also I love this little goober turret thing, I think that's very neat, I always have a soft spot for auto turrets.
HOWEVER.
I have always found these box sets to have massively inflated price for what you get AND the induvial kill teams (while often being great kits) are also very expensive. I get the idea is that these are "complete armies" in a box for playing kill team, but i don't think that justifies the increased prices.
I'll be interested to see the full price and how that compares to other KT releases. So far I am apprehensive but optimistic, oh and the advert had nice animation.
Also NEVER preorder, you will be able to get a box, don't give into the FOMO!

Holy Sh*t!
Two months ago we celebrated 100 subs, now we're up to 500! You've got no idea how great it feels to have 500 of you mad lads tuning in to hear me talk about something I love so much!

Can't believe I missed this!
Its about time we got more stuff for the schism of Mars! I really hope GW gives us new units, and kits for old ones like the Arlatax & the Excindio. I'm also glad titans get a bit more love as they always felt to me like an underutilized area of the game (though that makes sense due to their prohibitive points & money cost). I'm looking forward to more loyalist/traitor specific options to incentivize players to pick a side and lean into the whole civil war aspect, especially when building themed armies!
All that aside I would caution against hype and pre ordering, personally I've been burned to many times to ever consider another pre order!
I also hope that this book is thick enough, with enough content to warrant the high price tag that GW will inevitably slap on, as the last books have been less than satisfactory with the amount and quality of content.
Still, what are your hopes for this release? I've got fingers crossed for more knight & titan support!

GW should just really bite the bullet and go for full FREE digital rules with how often they flip flop and alter rules. One of the main reasons I stopped playing 40k was having to play catch up near enough every week. Felt like a full time job!
I also find it galling that these products that are coming out require so many tweaks and updates AFTER the launch, it smacks of unprofessionalism :(. I also don't believe this is caused by rushing the products, after all GW controls the launch schedule they can change it any time they like.
Its a good thing we got people like Auspex Tactics who can keep up with these things!
