NRail 2024 is Marching forward! It is literally March already! So with the NRail Newsletter just delivered yesterday on schedule, it’s time for the NRail Channel to announce February’s Video of the Month!
“Video of the Month” is MANY things, but PROMOTING upcoming NTRAK modular layouts is WHY WE EXIST! And so, this video scores a grand slam by including Promotion, Layered video clips, Music, Post-production work and a QR code!
Well done Central Ohio NTRAK!

Minute 26:08 features a spotlight on the historic Cotton Brute. That locomotive journeyed all over USA this 50th Anniversary year. From Selma, to Amherst, to Reno, to Grapevine, to Altoona to Danville. Modular Model Railroaders have truly met the moment in so many ways this year!

1973 to 2023, an N-spiring 50 years, made N-otably memorable by the Cotton Brute. Bravo to Ken Richter and New Jersey Southern for this Silver Anniversary spotlight on the mighty locomotive crafted by the late Jim FitzGerald, founder and publisher of the NRail (NTRAK) Newsletter. NRail proudly added this video to its playlist commemorating 50 Years of N Scale Modular Model Railroading!

It is with deep sadness to announce that Ray Chaffee passed away on Friday, August 25th. He was an advisor for NRail, member of the Connecticut Valley Model Railroad Club and Northeast T-TRAK. Ray was a valuable contributor to the model train community and the go-to guy for trouble shooting any show layout issues. Always willing to lend a hand, Ray will be greatly missed.

Thank you Jeff Shultz for capturing the unprecedented and enormous @NRail layout at the @NMRAonline National Train Show in Grapevine Texas 2023.
NRail is the national association of N Scale Modular Model Railroading previously known as NTRAK since 1973. Honoring the addition of numerous modular standards, the association rebranded as NRail and presented this unprecedented combination of NTRAK, T-TRAK & Freem-moN.
Your video production gift published here greatly enhances our appreciation, recollection and our commitment to promoting the growth and adoption of 1:160 Scale modeling. Tracks ahead! 🛤️🚅🚋🚋🚋🛤️ #NRail #NRail50 #50YearofNScaleModularModelRailroading

The NRail Channel is the official Home of N Scale Model Railroading videos sponsored by NRail. It is the official home of ZoomTRAK and covers all of N-Scale model railroading, including Free-moN, NTRAK, T--TRAK , home layouts and even armchair N-Scale modelers.
NRail started in 1973 as the NTRAK Newsletter to provide communications about N-Scale and get the word out about modular model railroading. In 2021, NTRAK changed its name to NRail to reflect the growing diversity of its members and to continue promoting all N-Scale activity under one banner.
We invite you to enjoy our videos and to send your feedback, suggestions and other comments to videos@nrail.org.
